Grommets ends this week with #7. For being a book that takes place during a decade I wasn’t alive for & about a subculture I wasn’t part of, I had a blast reading it. Gorgeous art. Entertaining story. Ironically refreshing for what some may call nostalgia bait. Highly recommend

This was stolen from Geof Darrow at C2E2. Geof is one of the best people in comics, if you see it for sale please speak up.
My most recent @OlliesOutlet pickup. The two Black Panther omnibus I also got don’t have shit on 12 Days of Richard Simmons
Seeing if this Absolute universe is actually accessible for a new generation of comic readers. Bought at my @badideahello destination store Apotheosis Comics

I lost a book!!
SUPER long shot, but anyone find a book at @Comic_Con that looks similar to this one? I lost it at SDCC, and it’s precious to me. It’s vol 1 (not vol 2 seen here) and it’s signed in red paint marker on the cover as seen here. I’m REALLY BUMMED that I lost it 😭😭
Oh buddy, @mattkindt is going to be getting a lot more embezzlers after people see these awesome gift boxes he’s sending out. They are all amazing. Too cool and just one reason why it’s still the only patreon I follow. Thank you 🙏🏼

I've been thinking about it a lot lately, and Goblin Market Manga, Comics & Curiosities (and shops like it) are definitely the future of comics shops.
Link to my interview with 2 of the owners in the comments.
Stick around to the end and get a tour of the place!
Came home from a dud of a day to find my copy of Room Service by @JamesTheFourth and @e_charretier waiting for me. Too excited to read it and turn my day around!
