Lewis : « I mean, Fred hasn't cleared the air in the sense of like... me and Charles, we sat and spoke, we squashed it and we're moving on. I think we still have a huge amount of respect for each other.
And I'm glad we had a chat. You know, now we've moved on. We've been getting along just fine as normal. So, sometimes in those scenarios it just takes having a conversation.
There's been no demands from either side. It's just been both giving our points and areas that we can do better and support each other. And, yeah, so I'm hoping to have better races moving forwards. »

Bernd Maylander on the world feed: "It’s very simple to say it’s not drivable, it’s too dangerous. There is standing water in some parts, even on the straights, that creates high-speed aquaplaning and safety-wise at the moment, we have to stop it. Hopefully we can continue, hopefully the rain will be less, then we try again. We do all our best."

Question: With the happy event you experienced at the beginning of the week, congratulations, by the way, you haven't yet had the opportunity to talk about the discussion you had with Lewis and Fred. What can you tell us about it following the incidents in Mexico?
Charles: “Very honestly, as you said, it's true that my week has been... it was a dream week, of course not from a professional point of view 😂, but in moments like these, your personal life and the fact that my wife and I have become parents for the first time is something exceptional. So that's really the emotion from this week.
After that, the discussion had to happen, that's clear, and we had it. I think we talked things through, we both said what we thought, and it brought a lot of calm to the situation.
As for moving forward, that discussion was certainly clear. I don't want to go into any more detail than that, and I don't particularly want to reignite something that has already dragged on for far, far too long.”
