Indiana’s non-conference gauntlet: North Texas, Howard, Western Kentucky

The Indiana Hoosiers are the only FBS team with five wins against opponents with a record over .500. Texas, Oregon, and USC are tied for the second most with four wins each.

NEWS: The Big Ten chancellors and presidents are adopting facets of what’s in the Protect College Sports act, in what the league says is the bill’s “anticipated passage.” This includes a cap of athletic spending of $49 million per institution on athletes. Per the release Big Ten conference-level rule limits institutional involvement in arranging third-party NIL agreements to a maximum of $27.5 million per member institution. (That's permitted by the House Injunctive Relief Settlement).
