Truly incredible how people who discovered Ron Paul fifteen years ago were absolutely one-shotted into never learning a single thing about foreign policy or geopolitics that wasn't just some form of blaming America for every bad thing that happens in the world
Not hard to see why Russia enthusiastically promoted him

Robert Rector is one of the all-time great think tank scholars, a pivotal figure in welfare reform. I’m sure he’ll find a fine home. @Heritage’s loss.
SCOOP: Heritage has ousted one of its top scholars, Robert Rector, the intellectual architect of welfare reform who had challenged Heritage head Kevin Roberts last yr for his defense of Tucker Carlson. He had been w/ Heritage since 1984. (W/ @joshgerstein) politico.com/news/2026/11/07…

Australian officials have issued a reminder to shut your car doors after one wombat helped himself to several passenger seats. The notice followed complaints from visitors at a popular picnic area, where the same wombat reportedly kept climbing into parked cars while people unloaded bags or packed up lunch.
At first, staff thought they were receiving several calls about one incident. Then they realized the cars were different. The passenger wasn’t.
One couple waited nearly an hour before he climbed out. Another visitor said he settled into the seat before she’d even finished putting her things in the boot. Officials asked visitors to keep their doors closed and contact staff if they found an unexpected occupant.
After the photos spread online, a park spokesperson clarified the situation. “He hasn’t been abandoned. He lives here. Please stop calling to say someone’s left their wombat in a car.”

He's Jewish. Dems, and the left have an anti-semitism problem. A huge one. And it will only get worse.
BTW, GOP has the same growing problem on the alt-right weirdo wing. It isn't just the Democrats or the progressive left.

Today is the National Day for the Victims of Communism. Communism killed more than 100 million people in the 20th century.
This memorial, The Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Prague, powerfully captures what communism does to the human person.

Now that all the funded accounts are passing around "the chart," here's a more complete view that shows you what has happened.
Democrats got near 2024 turnout (mirroring special election and primary turnout). Republicans did not.
And Independents, while down, swung massively against Republicans. And to top it off, Republicans defected more than normal.
Doesn't look like fraud now, does it?

Not even The People’s Republic of California voted for the wealth tax, not even in a midnight blue wave year.
So there’s that.

Quick question: How'd that redistricting work out this cycle?
Maybe instead of trying to select your voters, you should try to actually persuade people. Crazy, I know.
I cannot stress how dire the situation is right now.
Democrats came just a handful of seats away from outright flipping North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas into Blue trifectas. Republicans only narrowly avoided this by clinging on to the state Senate in each by just a few seats.
If we do not flip these states back in 2030, the House of Representatives will be lost for a generation.
There is essentially no path to winning back a House majority without maximizing GOP redistricting in the South. Without this to offset Dem gerrymanders in states like Illinois, New York, and California, we’re looking at a scenario where Republicans likely remain locked out of the House until at least 2042, if not longer.

Congress should pass military aid for Ukraine and tough sanctions against Russia. Why? Because it is strategically and morally right. If the President vetoes, then it is on him in the history books. Congress needs to stand on the right side of history.
US midterm impact on Ukraine policy
Democrat wins in Congress still face major challenges in changing assistance to Ukraine in the face of Presidential opposition
Oversight in support of Ukraine is all the more important, and several friends of 🇺🇦 are retiring or losing ⬇️
I write this to note the need for other members of Congress to step up, keep current initiatives moving and maintain close oversight of the administration’s Ukraine policies
Briefly:
Jeanne Shaheen — Senate, D, retiring
Brian Fitzpatrick — House, R, trailing Michael McCaul — House, R, retiring
Thom Tillis — Senate, R, retiring

Talarico argues pro-business really means pro-big business, socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for everyone else
“I've seen that when people talk about being pro-business, what that usually means is being pro-big business, right?”
“we basically subsidize Walmart through Medicaid because they don't give their employees quality healthcare.”
“So again, socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for the rest of us.”
“And this is not a radical vision. It's what we had before.”

I actually think students should be taught skills and evaluated by tests and teachers can be a little stressed out about achieving these results for students. Obscuring failure does not create success.
