New @FREOPP: Our paper on how to end the cycle of tuition hikes and student loan bailouts, and actually reduce the cost of higher education, building on reforms in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
Taxpayers spend $150 billion per year on student financial aid. A quarter of that debt will never be repaid, and it's taxpayers rather than the colleges who will absorb the loss.

Lots of VCs kindof sound like this: "Your basketball team doesn't have a moat, any healthy human can throw the ball into the basket thingy. "
People who have not run companies before don't understand how much the team matters more than some imagined structural moat.

Could backlash against anti-Muslim and anti-Hindu hostility affect Texas’s Senate race?
Many Texans in those communities have South Asian roots. A 2024 estimate put Texas’s eligible South Asian electorate near 400,000.
For perspective: Beto O’Rourke lost to Ted Cruz in 2018 by 214,921 votes—just 2.56 points.
That’s not 400,000 unclaimed votes. But hypothetically, if @jamestalarico added 400,000 votes to Beto’s tally while the Republican total stayed the same, he’d win by 185,079.
Under that scenario? GOOD NIGHT, PAXTON.

2023 - No. 3 Michigan vs. No. 2 Ohio State
The winner (Michigan) punched a ticket to the Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoff. The loser (Ohio State) didn't get either.
I'm not saying playoff expansion makes The Game meaningless, but it will never carry as much weight as it once did.
Michigan is truly the last national champion of college football's greatest era.〽️🏆

sure, expand it to 24 teams...

Republicans spent decades holding up Indians as models of legal immigration and assimilation. Law-abiding, successful and patriotic. But the nativists have prevailed for now. New op-ed on the 2026 midterms: firstpost.com/opinion/for-in…
For Indian immigrants, playing by America’s rules is no longer enough
The Republican distinction between legal and illegal immigration is collapsing, leaving even high-skilled Indian immigrants in the crosshairs, writes @anangbhai

Great to thank my friend @patrickjwitt in person today. His work on CLARITY helped the @SECGov & @CFTC build lasting rules for digital assets in America. A bright future ahead for this man!
Serving in this administration has been the privilege of a lifetime.
From helping to stand up the most successful presidential transition in history alongside @howardlutnick and @EDSecMcMahon, to rebuilding our defense industrial base as PTDO Deputy Under Secretary for R&E and then Acting Director of OSC at @DeptofWar, to driving forward President Trump’s vision to make the United States the “crypto capital of the world” as Executive Director of the @WhiteHouse Crypto Council, I consider myself to have been the luckiest guy in the world over these past two years.
First and foremost, I want to thank @POTUS for the opportunity to serve the American people again in your second term. Your clear-eyed vision to ensure the United States remains the undisputed global superpower at this time of unprecedented technological change and geopolitical strife is critical to our nation’s future prosperity.
Second, I want to thank @DavidSacks for your visionary leadership and mentorship. I am so grateful to have been able to work with you and learn from you over the past year. Thank you also to @USWREMichael, James Mazol, @HarryYJung, Nick Elliot, Tyler Williams, @lukejpettit, Jonathan Hurowitz, Andrew Rittenhouse, Michael Friedman, @atitus7, @passalacqua_mj, @willscharf, @JamesCBraid, @MayMailman, Steve Levine, Patrick Butler, Zach Carstens, and countless others across the administration for being the best colleagues anyone could ask for. It was an honor to serve alongside you.
Lastly, thank you to @SECPaulSAtkins and @ChairmanSelig, @SecScottBessent, @USComptroller Gould, @SenatorTimScott, @SenLummis, @SenatorHagerty, @berniemoreno, @JohnBoozman, @SenThomTillis, @RepFrenchHill, and @RepBryanSteil for your partnership in advancing crypto policy over the past year with the passage of the GENIUS Act and our work to advance the CLARITY Act. With regulators and elected officials like you, I rest easy knowing the future of digital asset innovation in America is bright.
Regarding next steps, I’ll have to more to share soon. For now, I’ll say this: I am extremely bullish on America as we embark upon a new golden age of technological advancement across multiple frontiers. I’m grateful to have done my part to unleash American innovation while in government, and I look forward to advancing that same mission in the private sector! 🇺🇸

bombshell report from the OCC out today confirming what we all suspected:
between 2020 and 2025, based on a review of 100,000 complaints, America’s largest banks systematically denied banking to lawful businesses based on political and reputational considerations rather than objective financial risk, effectively appointing themselves arbiters of which industries deserved access to the financial system. digital assets was specifically named as one of the six most affected industries.
TLDR: we weren't imagining it. OCP2.0 was real.
