Do I happen to have anyone in my networks that does anything with citizenship education? Somehow I am the most qualified person available to write a citizenship course description and I am in over my head.
Nothing demonstrates how politics gets in the way of governance like watching the WV Broadband Council discuss the Affordable Connectivity Program ending because other issues are so flashy that a bill with a lot of bipartisan support can't get enough cosponsors.
I think it's about time for a new tattoo. I think it might be time for a ukulele-playing Sappho to join the knitting Aspasia.

Last night I dreamed I was back in middle school and I had to call the cops on one of my teachers for kissing a fellow student and no one thought it was a big deal and why do my dreams have to do this to me?
What I want to know is when the #RedWings are going to adopt a cat to live in LCA and name it Alex the Rink Cat.
I am having one of those days where feeding myself is hard. Even "easy" foods feel like impossible tasks, so I just keep working.

I just found out that my new job (which I start on Monday after accepting the position 2 weeks ago) expects me to be "in the office" (it's remote) no later than 7:30 every day, but they didn't think that was worth mentioning until I deliberately asked them about the hours.
Yesterday got completely derailed by a migraine, but today I'm up bright and early to probably blow my whole day on DnD planning.
I've been reading through proposed legislation here in Oklahoma, and I've never felt more convinced that the people who are good at winning elections are often not very good at the actual work of governing.
Sometimes I know I need to do something but I can't figure out what I need to do and can't figure why I feel like I need to do it right now -- and then I realize I have to pee. #adhdlife
