I almost dropped out of school following Jeffrey Benson. Yes, you read that right. 😂 I've been following Jeffrey Benson for about five years now, and one thing I've always found interesting about him is his personality. He's jovial, lively, and, from what I've observed, a free-spirited person who seems comfortable being himself. But there was a particular moment when his influence on me almost made me take a decision I might have regretted. He once dropped a YouTube video talking about how he dropped out of law school because he felt it wasn't for him. He wanted to focus on forex trading instead. Now, at the time, I was in my 200 level at the university, and I was also into forex trading. So, watching someone walk away from law school to focus on forex got me thinking. What if I'm also on the wrong path? What if I could achieve more by leaving school and focusing entirely on forex? What if I just took that bold step too? Before I knew it, I was seriously contemplating dropping out of school to focus on forex trading, just like Jeffrey. Imagine that. 😂 Somehow, I didn't drop out. And honestly, I don't know how things would have turned out if I had. Maybe it would have worked out beautifully; maybe things would have been different. But I have no regrets about how things turned out. Looking back, I find the whole experience interesting because it says something about the kind of influence people can have on us, even when they don't know we exist. I've followed Jeffrey for about five years, and while I may not know him personally, I find his free-spirited nature fascinating. There's something about watching someone question conventional expectations and choose a path that makes sense to them that can make you question your own life choices. But here's what I've come to understand: someone else's decision to walk away from a path doesn't automatically mean that path is wrong for you. Sometimes, what inspires you about another person isn't necessarily the decision they made, but the courage they had to make it. And perhaps that's the real lesson I took from following Jeffrey Benson.
