2026 marks a decade since I moved to the U.S. for school.
After 10 years of learning, navigating academia, and finding my communities along the way, I am SO excited to share that I've received my Ph.D. from @cmuhcii, @CarnegieMellon and joined @MSFTResearch (MSR), New York City as a Senior Researcher!!!
At MSR, I am thrilled to be able to work at the intersection of research, product, and policy within the ๐

๐๐ข๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ, ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐) ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ and closely with the ๐๐๐๐ (๐๐จ๐๐ข๐จ-๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ) ๐ญ๐๐๐ฆ โ partnering with product teams across Microsoft to translate rigorous research into practice.
My goal for the next stage of my career is to ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐ข๐ง ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ-๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ to ensure safer and more responsible AI, with a particular focus on building tools and processes to evaluate agentic AI systems and supporting meaningful human engagement in humanโagent collaboration.
