𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝟳 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 👀
The entire slate, game by game.
Here’s where @wgabelman's head is at early in the week.
𝗦𝗙 ⛏️@ 𝗔𝗧𝗟 🪶
Brock Purdy gets an above-average matchup against a Falcons defense that has allowed four of its last five opposing QBs to throw for 285+ yards. Atlanta is facing over 40 pass attempts per game, putting 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗱𝘆 in an interesting spot.
The bigger question is what happens if 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘀 and 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗯𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗲𝗹 both miss.
𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 ($5,700) saw a season-high eight targets last week, while 𝗖𝗠𝗖 ($7,600) received double-digit targets for the first time all season after Evans exited. If both receivers are out, I'm considering a rule to roster one of Kittle or CMC on most builds.
The matchup is less appealing for Atlanta. 𝗕𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 ($8,500) has the talent and workload, but no RB has rushed for more than 90 yards against San Francisco. 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 ($7,500) also faces a middling matchup, while Kyle Pitts is coming off a two-TD performance against a defense that has yet to allow a touchdown to a TE.
𝗖𝗜𝗡 🐯 @ 𝗕𝗔𝗟 🐦⬛
The QB matchup doesn't stand out for either side. 𝗝𝗼𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 ($6,900) has topped 25 DK points just once this season, and Baltimore hasn't allowed an opposing QB to throw for more than one TD or 276 yards in a game.
𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 would be more interesting at $200 less than Burrow if healthy, particularly after Malik Willis rushed for 74 yards and a TD against Cincinnati last week.
The matchup through the air is much more appealing for 𝗝𝗮'𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲.
Chris Olave, CeeDee Lamb, Carnell Tate and Drake London have all posted 20+ DK points against Baltimore, with three of the four exceeding 110 receiving yards.
𝗭𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 ($6,900) and 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 ($3,900) are also in play if Lamar returns. On the ground, Chase Brown hasn't been effective, but 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 ($4,600) could become an interesting salary saver if there's news of an expanded role.
𝗧𝗕 🏴☠️ @ 𝗖𝗔𝗥 🐈⬛
This is shaping up as one of my favorite games to build around. 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗰𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 has been impressive, joining Peyton Manning and Drew Brees as the only QBs to open a season with 280+ passing yards and at least one TD in each of their first five games.
Tampa Bay has already allowed five receivers to top 20 DK points, including Denzel Boston, Jordan Addison, George Pickens, DK Metcalf and Germie Bernard.
𝗧𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗮 𝗠𝗰𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻 averages 9.6 targets per game, while 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿 averages 8.8. Expect at least one to have a strong game.
𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗛𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗱 ($6,700) is a tougher click despite his strong season. Tampa Bay has yet to allow an opposing RB to rush for more than 58 yards or produce more than 8.6 receiving DK points.
Baker Mayfield could return for Tampa Bay, which would help the overall game environment. Bryce Young is preferred at just $400 more.
Carolina has tightened up against opposing RBs since allowing big games to D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai early in the season, making 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗜𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 less appealing than his DraftKings matchup might suggest.
𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗸𝗮 𝗘𝗴𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮 is my favorite bring-back after seeing 16 targets in Week 6.
𝗡𝗬𝗚 🔵 @ 𝗛𝗢𝗨 🐂
𝗖𝗝 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 ($5,700) is initially interesting after posting three 300+ passing-yard games in his last five outings. He should have a full complement of weapons with Tank Dell potentially returning and Marvin Harrison Jr. getting another week in the offense.
The Giants have limited most opposing QBs this season, but Matthew Stafford threw for 325 yards and four TDs against them. Stroud has the upside to take advantage if that performance is the blueprint.
The bigger draw may be the pass catchers.
𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 𝗡𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 ($6,800) has topped 110 yards and 26 DK points in three straight games while still costing less than $7,000. 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 ($5,300) is coming off his third game of at least 23.9 DK points and leads the Giants in red-zone targets.
Both are firmly in my player pool. 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝘀 ($7,200) remains a strong option, but the potential returns of Dell and Harrison could spread Stroud's targets around more than usual.
Neither backfield stands out, with both teams splitting their RB opportunities and neither defense allowing an opposing RB to rush for 85 yards.
𝗜𝗡𝗗 🐎@ 𝗠𝗜𝗡 🟣
The Vikings defense is a priority early in the week.
𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 has thrown as many interceptions as TDs in every game this season, has six interceptions overall and has taken 15 sacks. Minnesota is just $3,500 and gets a QB who has struggled with turnovers and pressure.
The Vikings' ground game is also interesting against an Indianapolis defense that has allowed Derrick Henry, Kenneth Walker and Jaylen Warren to top 150 total yards. 𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 has handled 22+ touches in four straight games without Jordan Mason. If Mason can't return from IR, Jones is back in consideration.
The other side is much less appealing. 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿 ($8,000) has an extremely difficult matchup against a Vikings defense that has held opposing RBs to 3.2 yards per carry outside of one long Ollie Gordon run.
The opposing backfields have also combined for just 27 receiving yards against Minnesota despite 16 targets.
𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 ($7,300) hasn't reached double-digit targets this season and is averaging fewer than five catches per game. He remains capable of a ceiling performance, but the early matchup and usage aren't especially compelling.
𝗠𝗜𝗔 🐬 @ 𝗡𝗬𝗝 ✈️
The first thing I saw was the DST price. 𝗝𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗦𝗧 ($2,900) is averaging nearly three sacks per game and has held its three home opponents to 14 points per game. Miami finally topped 13 points for the first time all season last week, making New York my favorite mid-range defense.
Neither QB stands out. No QB has needed 40 attempts against Miami, while 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 hasn't thrown for 225 yards or more than one TD in a game this season.
𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 ($5,900) is the exception if Breece Hall misses another game. Allen has handled 16, 25 and 19 touches in the three games without Hall.
The receiving matchups are less appealing. No WR has topped 20 DK points against Miami, tempering interest in 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 ($6,500). No Dolphins pass catcher has topped 14.7 DK points all season, which leaves 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗯 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀 and 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 as difficult clicks despite their sub-$5,000 salaries.
For now, it's mostly Allen and the Jets defense.
𝗖𝗟𝗘 🟤 @ 𝗧𝗘𝗡 ⚔️
𝗖𝗮𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱 ($4,600) has accounted for more than 190 total yards just once this season and hasn't thrown multiple passing TDs in a game. Even at home and at a discount, he feels close to unplayable.
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻 has the Browns atop the AFC North, but the road matchup is fairly neutral and Cleveland is averaging fewer than 30 pass attempts per game.
Neither rushing attack stands out. Cleveland has allowed just one TD to opposing RBs all season, while its own backfield could get crowded with Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson potentially returning.
The more interesting angle is Cleveland's receiving game. Tennessee hasn't allowed a TE to top 34 receiving yards, potentially concentrating more targets on 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 and 𝗞𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 ($4,400). Concepcion leads the team in targets, receptions and red-zone targets, making him an appealing early value.
On the other side, rookie 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗲 ($5,100) has posted games of 19 and 25 DK points in two of his last three outings and is worth keeping in mind.
𝗗𝗘𝗡 🟠 @ 𝗔𝗥𝗜 🐦
𝗕𝗼 𝗡𝗶𝘅 ($5,000) is a genuinely intriguing option despite a disappointing season so far. Arizona has allowed 20+ DK points to Drew Lock, Brock Purdy, Jameis Winston and Jared Goff, despite none attempting more than 33 passes. The Cardinals have also allowed 64 rushing yards and a TD on just eight total QB rush attempts.
This could be Nix's easiest matchup of the season. 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 ($5,500) leads Denver in targets and receiving yards, making him the preferred stacking partner.
Arizona has allowed multiple strong performances through the air, including 9-155-3 to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and 6-112-1 to Malik Nabers. Several other receivers and TEs have topped 18 DK points.
The matchup is more difficult for 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁, as Denver has held most QBs in check.
Still, 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 and 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗰𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 are interesting bring-backs if building around Nix. The Broncos have allowed big games to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Davante Adams, along with productive outings from Parker Washington, Konata Mumpfield, Tyler Higbee and George Kittle.
𝗚𝗕 🧀 @ 𝗗𝗘𝗧 🦁
This is the game that could drive the slate's highest combined ownership. Green Bay travels to Detroit in a dome, and the early numbers point toward a strong environment for 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲.
Four of the five QBs to face Detroit have posted their best game of the season in that matchup.
Love has exceeded 21 DK points four times already, and every opposing QB other than Josh Allen has thrown for 290+ yards and multiple TDs against the Lions. Allen accounted for five total TDs himself.
Green Bay has struggled to run the ball, while Detroit has allowed several massive receiving performances. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗧𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 and 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 all make sense as stacking partners. I'm considering a rule to roster at least one of the three even when not building around Love.
Detroit's side is tougher through the air. Green Bay has held opposing QBs below 260 passing yards and one or fewer total TDs in five straight games. However, 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗺𝘆𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗯𝗯𝘀 jumps off the page.
The Packers are allowing 27.3 DK points per game to opposing backfields, while Gibbs averages 32.1 and accounts for 92% of Detroit's backfield fantasy points.
𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗻-𝗥𝗮 𝗦𝘁. 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 ($7,800) remains firmly in play, averaging 11.4 targets per game and ranking third in receiving TDs despite playing one fewer game.
Drake London just put up 194 yards against Green Bay, while CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens combined for 143 yards last week.
This game has plenty of ways to get there, but the field will likely recognize it too. Finding the right combinations matters.
𝗟𝗔𝗥 🐏@ 𝗟𝗩 ☠️
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 ($6,400) is an appealing pivot from Love, who costs just $400 more. The Raiders have allowed Drake Maye and Tyler Shough to account for 290+ yards and at least four TDs in recent weeks, while the Rams have been difficult for opposing QBs.
With 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝘀 expected to miss at least six weeks, Stafford's targets should consolidate around 𝗣𝘂𝗸𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗮, 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗯𝗲𝗲 and 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻.
A block of Stafford plus Nacua and both TEs is interesting.
At $21,300 combined, that still leaves room to fit Gibbs and a Packers WR without being strapped for salary.
The Raiders' side is less appealing. No pass catcher has topped 80 yards against the Rams, which tempers interest in 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝗧𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿.
𝗔𝘀𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘆 ($6,500) is worth considering as a contrarian pay-up option, though his touches have declined in every game this season, from 29 in Week 1 to 14 last week.
That's the first look. These are the early reads, not final decisions. Injuries, roles and ownership will keep shaping the slate throughout the week.
We'll keep working through it before Sunday's lock.🔥
Keep an eye out for STATAtl's Late Look coming out later this week.

𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝟲 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 👀
The early read on Week 6, through the lens of @wgabelman
JETS ✈️ @ PATRIOTS 🔵
Drake Maye has averaged 360+ total yards and four TDs over his last two games. At $6,600, he’s an intriguing QB option, especially with Efton Chism emerging as a cheap stacking partner at $3,500.
If TreVeyon Henderson misses time, Rhamondre Stevenson could see a significant workload against a Jets defense that has allowed multiple 150-yard, multi-TD performances to opposing RBs.
On the other side, Braelon Allen remains a strong option if Breece Hall sits again, while Garrett Wilson has topped 100 yards and scored in two of his last three games.
SAINTS ⚜️@ GIANTS 🟦
Jameis Winston continues to stand out at just $5,100, coming off back-to-back games with 250+ passing yards and three TDs.
Cam Skattebo gets an intriguing matchup against a Saints defense that has struggled against opposing RB1s.
Through the air, Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely have combined for 52 targets over the past two weeks, with Likely standing out at $4,800.
Tyler Shough faces a much tougher matchup against a Giants defense that has yet to allow an opposing QB to top 200 passing yards, making Devaughn Vele the preferred bring-back if stacking Winston.
STEELERS 🟡 @ BUCCANEERS 🏴☠️
The early lean is toward the Pittsburgh passing game.
Aaron Rodgers has thrown three or more TDs in three straight games, and the expectation is that Pittsburgh will struggle to run against Tampa Bay.
DK Metcalf, Pat Freiermuth, and Germie Bernard are the primary stacking options, with Emeka Egbuka standing out as a $5,200 bring-back after leading Tampa Bay in targets during Jalon Daniels' two starts.
The Bucs' ground game is less appealing against a Steelers defense that has yet to allow an RB to top 85 rushing yards. Tyler Warren also deserves consideration after a strong seven-catch, 83-yard performance last week.
BEARS 🐻@ FALCONS 🪶
This game has plenty of uncertainty, but several pieces stand out.
If Michael Penix can't play, Tua Tagovailoa becomes an intriguing $4,500 option. That would also put Bijan Robinson in position for a potential 30-touch workload.
On Chicago's side, D'Andre Swift becomes interesting if Kyle Monangai misses another game. Through the air, Drake London continues to offer upside at $7,000.
The Falcons have allowed several big fantasy performances recently, putting Rome Odunze and Luther Burden on the radar as well.
RAVENS 🐦⬛ @ BROWNS 🟤
If Lamar Jackson returns from his ankle injury, he immediately becomes one of the more interesting QB options on the slate.
He's topped 24 fantasy points in eight of 13 full games against Cleveland.
Derrick Henry has handled 25+ touches in 80% of his games this season, while Zay Flowers has scored 28+ DK points in half his games.
On Cleveland's side, Deshaun Watson is worth considering at $4,900. Denzel Boston and Harold Fannin are the more appealing pass-catching options, particularly if KC Concepcion misses time with his concussion.
TITANS ⚔️ @ COLTS 🐎
This is an early game to approach cautiously. Tennessee has struggled to score, but its defense has been surprisingly difficult for opposing offenses.
Tony Pollard is the most interesting early option.
The Colts have allowed several big performances to opposing RBs, giving Pollard some upside despite the ugly matchup on paper.
Tyler Warren and Josh Downs are also worth considering at $5,300 and $5,800, respectively. Both benefit from a Titans defense that has allowed strong production to the few pass catchers seeing eight or more targets.
Still, this is a game that may be best left alone for the most part.
PANTHERS 🐈⬛ @ EAGLES 🦅
Jalen Hurts has an excellent rushing matchup against a Panthers defense that has struggled against mobile QBs.
The bigger question is how Philadelphia distributes the backfield work with injuries to Saquon Barkley, Will Shipley, and Tank Bigsby.
Dallas Goedert is the early standout at just $3,900. He led the Eagles with nine targets last week.
On the other side, Bryce Young has topped 24 fantasy points in three of four games and is an intriguing $5,700 option.
Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker also stand out against an Eagles defense that has allowed several big receiving performances.
Chuba Hubbard remains a volume-based option after handling 23 and 21 touches over the past two weeks.
CARDINALS 🐦 @ RAMS 🐏
Matthew Stafford has thrown for 300+ yards in four straight games, with multiple TDs in three of those four.
Against a Cardinals defense that has allowed 235+ passing yards and three or more TDs to four straight QBs, he's an early favorite.
Puka Nacua is the preferred pay-up WR after several opposing pass catchers have posted massive performances against Arizona.
Kyren Williams has handled 21+ touches in three straight games and stands out at $6,800.
On the Cardinals' side, Trey McBride and Michael Wilson continue to see enough volume to threaten a ceiling game
Kendrick Bourne offers a $4,000 salary-saving option
CHARGERS ⚡️ @ CHIEFS 🏹
Neither QB stands out initially, but the running back matchup is worth watching.
Kenneth Walker has recorded 20+ touches in every game this season and is averaging 29.8 fantasy points per game.
The Chargers backfield remains a frustrating committee between Omarion Hampton, Keaton Mitchell, and Kimani Vidal.
Through the air, injuries could create opportunity.
Tre Harris is likely to miss Week 6, while Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston are worth monitoring. If either sits, Oronde Gadsden could see an increased role.
Kansas City could also be without Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton, potentially concentrating targets among Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy.
This late-window matchup is one to revisit as injury news develops.
BILLS 🦬@ RAIDERS ☠️
The late hammer has plenty of upside.
Josh Allen is in an excellent spot at $7,500 against a Raiders defense that has surrendered 11 TDs to opposing QBs over the past three weeks.
On the other side, Kirk Cousins is an intriguing $5,400 option against a Bills defense that has allowed 289+ total yards and at least two TDs to four of five opposing starting QBs.
That also puts Brock Bowers firmly in play. He's topped 20 fantasy points and seen double-digit targets in every game this season, making him difficult to ignore even at $7,500.
James Cook is another strong option at $7,400 after seeing 24+ opportunities in three of Buffalo's last four games.
Ashton Jeanty and Mike Washington also have a favorable rushing matchup.
If DJ Moore is active, an Allen + Moore or Allen + Cook stack with Bowers coming back has the ceiling to put up a massive score.
🔥 These are the early angles. Injury news and ownership will shape where we land by Sunday.

The first pass at the Week 5 main slate through the lens of @wgabelman 👇
𝗖𝗛𝗜 🐻 𝗔𝗧 𝗚𝗕 🧀
After a decent outing in his first start in three years, Tyson Bagent will be at the helm again for the Bears.
It’s difficult to get a true read on what GB presents to opposing QBs after facing Jalon Daniels in his first start, Michael Penix, Geno Smith, and roughly half a game from Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz.
At $4,700, Bagent is at least intriguing as a paydown option. CHI has attempted 34+ passes in 3 of 4 games, with the lone exception being their 22-point blowout win over CAR.
GB has also allowed strong games from opposing WR1s, with Justin Jefferson, Drake London and Garret Wilson all posting at least 16.7 DK points.
It feels likely that at least one of Luther Burden, Kalif Raymond, Rome Odunze or Colston Loveland posts a tournament-worthy score.
On the other side, Matthew Golden continues to stand out as underpriced at $5,700 while averaging over nine targets per game.
𝗖𝗜𝗡 🐯𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗜𝗔 🐬
MIA has been one of the worst teams in the league and struggled mightily last week in its first game without Devon Achane.
Malik Willis threw for just 85 yards, making it difficult to get excited about the Dolphins passing game.
I want to like Malik Washington at $4,600, but MIA has yet to eclipse 13 points in a game.
The other side is much more interesting.
There’s a possibility both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins miss, which would leave Dohnte Meyers as the WR1 at just $3,500.
Chase Brown also stands out. Every opposing RB1 has topped 16 DK points against MIA, while Christian McCaffrey, Ashton Jeanty and Kenneth Walker all surpassed 22.
Brown hasn’t been super effective, but he continues to see 15+ touches every game with 20+ in 3 of 4.
𝗖𝗟𝗘 🟤𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗬𝗝 ✈️
This honestly feels like a matchup the NFL would give us for Thursday Night Football.
And without looking, it has to carry an over/under below 40.
Despite that, Quinshon Judkins immediately stands out.
Judkins has seen 20+ touches in each of the last two weeks, while NYJ just allowed Jahmyr Gibbs and Kyle Monangai to eclipse 150 total yards with multiple TDs.
At $5,700, Judkins may end up being my favorite paydown option at RB.
No other CLE players stand out.
On the other side, Kenyon Sadiq is intriguing at $3,800 if both Mason Taylor and AD Mitchell miss again.
𝗛𝗢𝗨 🐂𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗡 ⚔️
Rinse and repeat.
Another sub-40-point total that feels like it belongs on Thursday Night Football.
TEN has probably been the worst team in the league this year, yet this features two 0-4 teams.
Nico Collins returned from injury last week and balled out. He’s once again in play as HOU has struggled to run the ball efficiently all season.
Outside of Collins, nothing else from this game stands out initially.
𝗜𝗡𝗗 🐎𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗜𝗧 🟡
An alternative angle that stood out on first pass is leaning into the PIT passing game.
IND has allowed both Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes to throw for 320+ yards, while Aaron Rodgers has topped 290 yards passing in each of the last two games.
At $5,300, Rodgers could be one of the top point-per-dollar QBs if he gets the 300-yard bonus with 2-3 TDs.
DK Metcalf has been Rodgers' favorite target, averaging over eight targets per game. Coming off his best game, he’s intriguing at $5,400.
Roman Wilson is interesting at $3,700 as part of a Rodgers double stack, while Pat Friermuth is $3,900 and leads PIT pass catchers in red-zone targets.
The RB matchup is interesting too. Derrick Henry and Kenneth Walker both topped 160 total yards against IND.
Jaylen Warren has seen 20 touches in both games since Rico Dowdle’s injury. At $6,700, he’s a little pricey but definitely interesting.
On the other side, Jonathan Taylor has seen 20+ touches in every game this season.
PIT has allowed both opposing RBs who saw 16+ touches to score 20+ DK points.
JT stands out as my favorite pay-up option at RB.
𝗟𝗩 ☠️𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗘 🟦
LV has presented a below-average matchup to opposing QBs this season.
Tyler Shough is the only QB to throw for more than 225 yards, and it took 42 attempts to get there.
The WR matchup is more appealing, with Tyquan Thornton and Chris Olave both topping 100 yards over the last two weeks.
That has my interest piqued in Romeo Doubs, who saw nine targets last week and is priced at $5,000. JSN and Keon Coleman went over 100 yards against them.
On the other side, the matchup doesn’t really stand out for any LV player, but Brock Bowers is definitely in play.
𝗠𝗜𝗡 🟪 𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗢 ⚜️
After getting torched by Jordan Love in Week 1, MIN has stymied Caleb Williams, Baker Mayfield and Malik Willis over the last three weeks.
Tyler Shough has played well, but I’d initially rather play Brissett or Rodgers for $600-$800 less.
Devaughn Vele continues to be underpriced for his role, averaging eight targets a game at $5,200 and leading the WR room in red-zone targets.
On the other side, NO has allowed its top pass catcher to top 30 DK points in 2 of 4 games.
Justin Jefferson has some appeal at $7,300 if active.
If he misses again, Jordan Addison at $5,800 and TJ Hockenson at $4,800 would be very interesting.
𝗡𝗬𝗚 🔵𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗦 ⛑️
We’ve talked about Jameis Winston the past two weeks in this First Look, and this week is no different.
Teams have struggled to find success running against WAS, while Jameis threw for 250 yards and 3 TDs last week.
He’s still priced at $4,800 and, like Bagent, is intriguing if needing to go really cheap at QB.
WAS has allowed five TDs to opposing TEs, which draws me to Isaiah Likely at $4,300.
He leads the team with 32 targets, making him particularly interesting on Jameis-led builds.
On the other side, Jayden Daniels is looking probable to return, but NYG has held 3 of 4 opponents under 185 passing yards.
If Terry McLaurin misses, Stefon Diggs gains appeal at $5,500.
𝗦𝗙 ⛏️𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗔 🟢
Probably the best real-life matchup on the slate, with the undefeated 49ers visiting the 3-1 Seahawks.
Through the air, the matchup doesn’t stand out for either QB.
SEA has also run a carousel of RBs all season, and this week doesn’t appear to be much different.
On the other side, CMC has seen his production and touch count drop this season.
SEA hasn’t allowed an opposing RB to top 51 yards rushing or receiving all year.
JSN is always in play with his astronomically high role, but SF hasn’t allowed a 100-yard game yet this season and Smith-Njigba is $8,800.
If playing this game, I initially think I’d rather take a shot on SEA DST at $2,800 than pay up for JSN or CMC.
𝗗𝗘𝗡 🟠 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗖 ⚡️
DEN’s schedule to start the year hasn’t been pretty:
@ KC, @ SF, LAR and JAX.
That makes their 2-2 record somewhat impressive, while LAC has started 0-4 and has been one of the bigger disappointments of the season.
Both teams are dealing with WR injuries in Pat Bryant and Ladd McConkey.
McConkey is day-to-day with a foot injury, while Bryant is likely to miss multiple weeks with an ankle injury.
If McConkey is inactive, second-year wideout Tre’ Harris becomes immediately appealing at $4,100.
On the other side, Jaylen Waddle has been the favorite target of Bo Nix and could be in play at $6,100 after Trey McBride and Trey Tucker both surpassed 25 DK points against LAC.
The matchup is above average for the DEN run game, but with an even split, neither JK Dobbins nor RJ Harvey stands out.
Overall, a game I’ll likely avoid unless McConkey is inactive.
𝗗𝗘𝗧 🦁 𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗜 🐦
Talk about saving the best for last.
After writing the first 10 games, I was wondering where the real fantasy goodness was this week.
Then we got here.
Through the air, Drew Lock, Brock Purdy and Jameis Winston have all thrown for at least 235 yards with 3+ TDs against ARI over the last three weeks.
Opposing WR1s have also done plenty of damage:
JSN: 9-155-3
Nabers: 6-112-1
McConkey: 5-82-1
Mike Evans: 3-34-1
McConkey and Evans both suffered in-game injuries.
The matchup has been appealing for TEs too, with George Kittle, Isaiah Likely and David Njoku all topping five receptions and 50 yards.
Ignoring game theory and ownership, Amon-Ra St Brown and Sam LaPorta stand out as some of the best options at their positions.
I may also have interest in Isaac TeSlaa as part of Goff-led double stacks at just $3,400.
The matchup doesn’t really stand out for Gibbs. No RB has rushed for 100 yards against ARI, and only CMC added more than eight receiving yards.
Gibbs is always in play with his massive role, but at $9,800, a ceiling game that crushes you for not playing him feels less likely here.
On the other side, Jacoby Brissett jumps out.
The only opposing QB to not throw for 320+ yards and multiple TDs against DET was Josh Allen, who still accounted for five total TDs while throwing for 248 yards.
At $5,500, Brissett feels underpriced, while Goff is also a strong on-paper play.
The ARI passing offense flows almost entirely through Trey McBride and Michael Wilson, who have 46 and 44 targets respectively.
Opposing WRs have smashed DET, with Tet McMillian, Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave all putting up monster scores.
On the ground, DET allowed James Cook and Chuba Hubbard to rush for 120+ yards with a TD, keeping Jeremiyah Love intriguing at $6,100.
This is only the first look at the slate, a lot will change before Sunday, so stay locked in 🔒

The first pass at the Week 4 main slate through the lens of @wgabelman 👇
AZ 🐦 𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗬𝗚 🔵
An interesting spot for Jameis Winston, who is still priced way down at just $4,500.
He only attempted 22 passes last week as the Giants played through heavy rain, but the Cardinals are averaging 27 points against through three games. Both Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely are interesting stacking partners, while Cam Skattebo continues to see strong volume with touch counts of 18, 16 and 23.
On the other side, Jacoby Brissett is averaging 39 passing attempts per game and is only $5,000. His stacking partners are pretty straightforward with Michael Wilson and Trey Mcbride both averaging over 10 targets per game.
Jeremiyah Love also handled 26 touches last week and finally out-snapped Tyler Allgeier. At $5,800, he’s another intriguing value RB.
It’s early, but I definitely have interest in building around both sides of this game.
𝗗𝗔𝗟 🤠 𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗨 🐂
The Texans have been excellent against the run, holding Jonathan Taylor, James Cook and Chase Brown to 82 total yards or fewer through three weeks.
The more interesting part is what they’ve allowed through the air.
DJ Moore, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Josh Downs and Keenan Allen have all found success, while Dalton Kincaid and Tyler Warren have also produced.
That has my interest in CeeDee Lamb at $7,800 and George Pickens at $6,300 higher than usual.
On the other side, David Montgomery has been pretty inefficient, and it feels reasonable that one of Dalton Schultz or Nico Collins, if active, sees 8-10 targets.
If Collins misses again, Xavier Hutchinson would have some appeal as a paydown option.
𝗚𝗕 🧀 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗕 🏴☠️
The big news here is Baker Mayfield’s thumb injury, which will force undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels to start for the Bucs.
Daniels is a dual-threat QB and was impressive at Kansas as well as during the preseason. The past two weeks, Geno Smith and Michael Penix both had respectable games against this Packers defense, and at $4,400, Daniels gives us another intriguing paydown option.
Justin Jefferson and Drake London both topped 27 DK points against this defense, which brings Emeka Egbuka at $5,900 and rookie Ted Hurst at $3,100 into the conversation.
For GB, Christian Watson and Matthew Golden have been the primary options for Jordan Love, while the Bucs have allowed Jordan Addison and Denzel Boston to top 90 receiving yards with a TD in each of the last two weeks.
At $5,400, Matthew Golden stands out as a strong value.
𝗝𝗔𝗫 🐈 𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗜𝗡 🐯
The JAX defense has looked stout through the first three games, holding all three opponents to 20 or fewer points.
That makes Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins playable as usual, but neither stands out at their respective prices.
On the ground, Chase Brown continues to operate in a borderline workhorse role, but the matchup is less appealing with Jacksonville yet to allow an opposing RB to reach 40 rushing yards.
On the other side, Bhayshul Tuten is intriguing at $5,600 in the better on-paper matchup.
Neither Trevor Lawrence nor his pass catchers stand out on initial review.
𝗟𝗔𝗥 🐏 𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗛𝗜 🦅
The Eagles defense hasn’t looked great, allowing an average of 24 points per game, and now gets its most potent offensive opponent of the season.
If Puka Nacua is back, $7,500 immediately stands out as an interesting pay-up option who could come in at low ownership.
On the ground, Kyren Williams and Blake Corum continue to split the workload, making it tough to prioritize either.
Devonta Smith is coming off back-to-back solid games, but at $7,100, the matchup isn’t particularly appealing. The Rams haven’t allowed a pass catcher to top 50 yards yet this season.
Overall, this should be a good real-life game, but it’s probably one I’ll have minimal DFS exposure to this weekend.
𝗡𝗘 🟦 𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗙 🦬
After back-to-back strong defensive performances, the Patriots got curb stomped by the Jaguars last week and now travel to Buffalo to take on arguably the best QB and offense in the league.
Despite averaging over 33 DK points per game, Josh Allen doesn’t stand out at $7,500. With salaries tightening across the board, I’ll likely lean toward some of the cheaper options at QB.
There are paths to this becoming a shootout with the Bills defense struggling, but the NE passing game is difficult to get excited about with Mack Hollins leading the team in targets with just 16 through three weeks.
This is another game I’ll likely mostly avoid.
𝗡𝗬𝗝 ✈️ 𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗜 🐻
The Jets were good to me and the OWS family last weekend and now get a middle-of-the-road matchup against a Bears team coming off a short week.
After getting torched by Bryce Young in Week 1, CHI held both Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz to 155 or fewer passing yards.
Geno Smith is $5,200, but I initially prefer several of the other paydown options on the slate.
On the other side, Case Keenum is likely to draw the start after throwing for 247 yards and 2 TDs with no interceptions against PHI.
Keenum doesn’t stand out at $4,600, but Luther Burden is intriguing at $5,200 after seeing 11 targets and a designed run.
AD Mitchell and Kenyon Sadiq are also interesting options at their prices.
𝗧𝗘𝗡 ⚔️ 𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗔𝗟 🐦⬛
The TEN offense has struggled to start the season, with Cam Ward yet to throw for 200 yards.
It feels unlikely they’ll be able to push BAL here, which makes it difficult to get excited about Lamar Jackson at $7,300.
The game script should feature plenty of Derrick Henry, but at $8,400, he would likely need an absolute monster game to justify the salary. Breece Hall and Cam Skattebo both topped 100 total yards against TEN, but Henry probably needs 200 yards or 3 TDs to really matter.
Overall, this feels like another game I’ll mostly avoid.
𝗠𝗜𝗔 🐬 𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗜𝗡 🟪
My first thought when I saw this game was checking how expensive the MIN DST would be.
Spoiler: $4,000, making them the most expensive defense on the slate.
They host a MIA team that just lost its best offensive weapon in De’Von Achane, and despite the elevated price, MIN DST is easily one of the strongest on-paper plays this weekend.
Aaron Jones has seen at least 22 touches in back-to-back games since Jordan Mason’s injury. At $6,000, he’s another solid volume bet, especially with the Justin Jefferson injury.
On the other side, MIA should be forced to throw 30+ times, making last week’s sleeper Chris Bell at $3,700 and Malik Washington at $4,400 interesting punt options.
Greg Dulcich at $3,200 is also worth a look coming off his best performance of the season.
𝗗𝗘𝗡 🟠 𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗙 ⛏️
RBs have found success against DEN, with Kenneth Walker and Kyren Williams both topping 150 total yards in this matchup.
That puts Christian McCaffrey firmly in the conversation at $7,700, especially with Mike Evans leaving last week’s game with an injury, which could lead Kyle Shanahan to lean more heavily on the ground game.
On the other side, DEN continues to spread things around between its RBs, WRs and TEs, so nobody immediately stands out on a 12-game slate.
Courtland Sutton continues to lead the team in snaps and routes while also leading the team in red-zone targets.
At $4,900, he’s worth keeping in mind.
𝗞𝗖 🏹 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗩 ☠️
Kirk Cousins has been solid for the surprisingly undefeated Raiders and is just $5,100 this week.
Continuing the theme of the slate, that makes him another QB I’m initially interested in as a paydown option.
Brock Bowers made his season debut last week and immediately became Cousins’ favorite target, clearing 100 yards and a TD while seeing double-digit targets.
His $6,900 salary makes him the most expensive TE on the slate, but the 30-point upside is clearly there.
On the other side, Kenneth Walker continues to impress and at $8,200 is an intriguing pay-up option if building around this game.
𝗟𝗔𝗖 ⚡️ 𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗔 🟢
Seattle welcomed back Sam Darnold last week and JSN didn’t miss a beat.
Smith-Njigba has been on an absolute tear to start the season, averaging over 37 DK points per game. The price has now climbed all the way to $9,100, though, making him a tough click for me this week.
The SEA ground game has been a three-way timeshare to start the season, which has me off all of their RBs.
On the other side, the Seahawks haven’t allowed a QB to pass for 200 yards or an RB to top 51 rushing yards. They’ve also been stingy against opposing pass catchers, with no WR or TE reaching 20 DK points against them.
As such, this is another game I’ll likely have little to no exposure to this weekend.
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀.

The first pass at the 13-game Week 3 slate through the lens of @wgabelman👇
𝗡𝗬𝗝✈️ @ 𝗗𝗘𝗧🦁
Through two weeks, opposing QBs have absolutely shredded Detroit. 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 and 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 both topped 300 total yards and three TDs.
That makes 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵 interesting, especially paired with two of 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻, and rookie 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗾.
Detroit has already allowed four TDs to opposing tight ends, while 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿's thumb injury should open up more opportunities for Sadiq.
On the other side, 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗺𝘆𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗯𝗯𝘀 and 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗻-𝗥𝗮 𝗦𝘁. 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 continue to see elite usage.
This could be a fun game to build around. The question is whether the field gets there with the Jets.
𝗦𝗘𝗔🟢 @ 𝗪𝗔𝗦 ⛑️
𝗝𝗮𝘅𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵-𝗡𝗷𝗶𝗴𝗯𝗮 is currently the highest-scoring fantasy player on the season, and you probably don't need much convincing to play him after 𝗖𝗲𝗲𝗗𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗯 just went for 150+ yards and a TD against Washington.
Washington has also surrendered four TDs to tight ends, although chasing 𝗔𝗝 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 with just three targets on the season feels thin.
The bigger question is whether there's anything else here worth attacking.
For now, I'm leaning toward avoiding the Commanders offense.
𝗖𝗜𝗡🐯 @ 𝗣𝗜𝗧 🟡
Cincinnati has quietly looked much better against the run than we expected coming into the season, allowing just 78 total rushing yards through two games.
That makes 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗯𝗯𝘀 and 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿-type workloads less appealing here.
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 continues to operate as a workhorse and gets a Pittsburgh defense that just allowed strong games to 𝗕𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 and 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗩𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻.
𝗝𝗮'𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 is always in play, but if I'm paying up at WR, I currently prefer finding the extra $500 for JSN.
𝗟𝗔𝗖⚡️ @ 𝗕𝗨𝗙 🦬
𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 has looked like SuperJosh through two weeks, but this should be his toughest defensive matchup yet.
With 𝗗𝗝 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 injured, the Buffalo targets should become even more concentrated. 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗶𝗱 has become Allen's clear top target and is averaging 22 DK points per game.
𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗿 is the cheap stacking option at $3,500.
On the Chargers side, 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗻 saw 25 touches last week and remains interesting at $6,800.
With 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘆 still dealing with a rib injury and 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 and 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗡𝗷𝗼𝗸𝘂 heading to IR, 𝗢𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗱𝗲𝗻 is an intriguing $3,500 TE punt.
𝗛𝗢𝗨🐂 @ 𝗜𝗡𝗗 🐴
The Texans have already handled 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸 and 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻, holding both under 12 fantasy points.
That makes 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿 less appealing at $7,600.
The passing matchup is more interesting. Houston has allowed 𝗗𝗝 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 and 𝗝𝗮'𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 to top 24 fantasy points, while 𝗧𝗲𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 went for 95 yards.
𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀 leads Indianapolis in routes, snaps, and targets. At $5,700, he's one of the Colts pieces I'm most interested in.
𝗞𝗖🏹 @ 𝗠𝗜𝗔 🐬
𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿 is the name that immediately stands out.
Miami has already allowed 20+ fantasy points to both 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘆 and 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆, while Walker has handled 20+ opportunities in both games.
At $7,400, he's firmly in the pool.
On the other side, 𝗗𝗲'𝗩𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 continues to receive strong volume at $6,500 and could be a bounce-back candidate.
𝗧𝗘𝗡⚔️ @ 𝗡𝗬𝗚 🔵
The big question here is 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 at the stone minimum.
It's only Tuesday, but this could become one of the biggest roster decisions of the week.
Tennessee has allowed strong games to both opposing WR1s so far, making 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 𝗡𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 interesting at what could be modest ownership.
𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 is another player I want to keep in mind.
I don't see a Titan I want to force into the player pool yet.
𝗡𝗘🟦 @ 𝗝𝗔𝗫 🐈
New England has done a good job containing opposing passing games through two weeks, so I'm not looking to force 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 into lineups.
The RBs are more interesting.
𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗩𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 returned last week with 16 carries for 77 yards and a TD, while 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻 has handled 15+ touches in both games.
At $5,200 and $5,600 respectively, both are viable pay-down options.
Neither QB stands out.
𝗖𝗔𝗥 🐈⬛@ 𝗖𝗟𝗘 🟤
Carolina's offense may attract some attention, but Cleveland has quietly been tough to attack.
The Browns haven't allowed a QB to throw for 250+ yards, an RB to top 90 total yards, or a WR to top 85 yards through two weeks.
That makes 𝗧𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗮 𝗠𝗰𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻 and 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿 harder to prioritize despite reasonable pricing.
The player who stands out most is actually 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 at $4,500.
Boston leads Cleveland WRs in yards, routes, and TDs through two weeks and appears to be 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻's favorite target.
𝗔𝗥𝗜🐦 @ 𝗦𝗙 ⛏️
Two 2-0 NFC West teams meet in the first afternoon game.
San Francisco has held both Miami and Los Angeles in check on the ground, while Arizona is splitting work between 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗵 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 and 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗴𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗲.
That's enough for me to stay away from the Arizona backfield for now.
𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆 has seen his workload limited through two weeks, but his price hasn't adjusted much for the new role.
The two pass catchers I like most are the tight ends. 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗰𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 has 23 targets already, while 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 gets a strong matchup at a discounted price.
𝗠𝗜𝗡 🟪 @ 𝗧𝗕 🏴☠️
With 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 now on IR, 𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 handled 23 carries last week.
At $5,900, that's enough opportunity to keep him firmly on the radar.
𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗜𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 offers a similar workload-based argument, although Minnesota has been a difficult matchup for opposing RBs.
𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 continues to lead Minnesota in every major receiving category. At $7,500, he's fairly priced and could be in line for a bounce-back after disappointing at high ownership last week.
𝗟𝗩 ☠️ @ 𝗡𝗢 ⚜️
I'm not moving off 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 yet.
He has topped 275 total yards and scored at least two TDs in both games, yet costs just $5,400.
𝗗𝗲𝗩𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗲 remains my favorite stacking partner. He has 16 targets through two weeks and costs just $4,400.
𝗔𝘀𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘆 continues to operate as a true workhorse with 25+ touches in both games.
At $7,100, the workload keeps him firmly in the conversation.
And if 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 finally makes his season debut, this game becomes even more interesting.
𝗕𝗔𝗟 🐦⬛ @ 𝗗𝗔𝗟 🤠
My interest here depends heavily on 𝗭𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀.
If he plays, this could offer plenty of fantasy goodness.
𝗖𝗲𝗲𝗗𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗯 remains the focal point of Dallas' offense and is my favorite option from the game.
For Baltimore, 𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆 always carries multi-TD upside, while 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 has a matchup that reminds me of 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆's 8-78-2 performance against Dallas in Week 1.
Neither QB is standing out initially.
Right now, I'm more interested in paying all the way up for 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻, all the way down for 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻, or living in the low/mid-$5K range with 𝗧𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵.
That's the first pass.
It's still early and there's a lot of time for these opinions to change before Sunday.
12 for 140 > 3 for 37 😉

NFL DFS: WEEK 2
A first look at this week's massive 13 game slate
CIN🐯 AT HOU🐂
Chase Brown saw 20 touches in Week 1, including six targets, but $6,900 feels a little rich against a Texans defense that just held James Cook to 69 yards on 16 touches.
David Montgomery is more interesting at $6,500 after handling 23 Texans RB opportunities in his debut. Tampa's backs averaged nearly 5 yards per carry against Cincinnati last week.
Ja'Marr Chase is a bounce-back candidate after just 5-71 combined with Tee Higgins. Nico Collins also stands out after seeing double-digit targets in Week 1.
CLE 🟤AT TB🏴☠️
The Browns looked rough in Week 1, and I'm not interested in forcing their skill players into consideration until something changes.
Bucky Irving is much more appealing. He handled 15 touches, including seven receptions, and costs just $6,100 against a Browns team that should give Tampa opportunities to control the game.
Emeka Egbuka is interesting at $6,400, although he'll probably need some touchdown variance to get there. Tampa Bay DST is also firmly on the radar after Deshaun Watson took five sacks and turned the ball over last week.
PIT🟡 AT NE🟦
This doesn't immediately look like a game I want to attack.
The Patriots lost AJ Brown to IR, which should create more opportunity for Romeo Doubs, Mack Hollins, and Hunter Henry.
DK Metcalf saw 10 targets in Week 1 and is only $5,200. With pricing tightening up, that's enough to get my attention.
GB🧀 AT NYJ✈️
Breece Hall saw 24 touches in Week 1 and costs just $6,200. I expect another heavy workload.
Garrett Wilson continues to operate as the clear alpha, seeing more than twice as many targets as any other Jet. He's another player I could see getting plenty of exposure to.
On the other side, Matthew Golden was one of the biggest surprises of Week 1, seeing 12 targets. At $4,700, he's immediately interesting.
CAR🐈⬛ AT ATL🪶
Bijan Robinson is the most expensive player on the slate at $8,200, but he handled 31 opportunities in Week 1 and accounted for basically the entire Atlanta offense.
After watching D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai combine for 200 rushing yards against Carolina, I have a hard time ignoring Bijan in this spot.
Bryce Young is also intriguing at $5,400 after throwing for 361 yards and three TDs. Chuba Hubbard and Jalen Coker are both firmly in the conversation after strong Week 1 performances.
PHI🦅 AT TEN⚔️
Saquon Barkley only saw 15 carries and two targets in Week 1, but the Titans just looked overwhelmed defensively against the Jets.
At $7,000, he's an interesting pivot from Derrick Henry, who will likely attract plenty of attention in his matchup with New Orleans.
Nothing else immediately stands out through the air.
NO⚜️ AT BAL🐦⬛
This is my early favorite for game of the week.
Tyler Shough attempted 56 passes in Week 1 and now costs just $5,300. The Saints' passing game is extremely concentrated around Chris Olave and DeVaughn Vele, with Juwan Johnson adding another cheap piece at $3,900.
On the other side, Lamar Jackson is expensive at $7,300, but the matchup and rushing upside are obvious.
Derrick Henry is also difficult to ignore after 163 total yards and three TDs in Week 1. Zay Flowers is the situation to monitor after leaving with a hamstring injury.
MIN🟪 AT CHI🐻
The final early game gives us the biggest question mark: Kyler Murray's concussion status.
The Bears just scored nearly 60 points, so there are plenty of ways this game could get interesting.
D'Andre Swift handled 19 touches and is firmly on my RB radar. Luther Burden led Chicago WRs in snaps and remains interesting at $5,700, while Colston Loveland gets a potential bounce-back spot after the Vikings allowed 115 yards to Packers tight ends.
And Justin Jefferson looked like Justin Jefferson again. At $7,800, he'd be my favorite Minnesota bring-back if I'm building around Caleb Williams.
JAX🐈 AT DEN🟠
This one initially feels like a potential trap after Jacksonville's Week 1 blowout.
I'd rather play Tyler Shough or Bryce Young at a cheaper price than Trevor Lawrence at $5,800 against Denver.
Bhayshul Tuten is interesting after 16 touches in Week 1, while Parker Washington becomes much more appealing if Brian Thomas Jr. is limited or out.
Pat Bryant is an interesting cheap WR, but this is a game I'm likely to avoid.
LV ☠️AT LAC⚡️
Ashton Jeanty saw 29 touches in Week 1 and led the Raiders in both rushing and receiving yards. At $6,800, I'm interested.
I'm taking a wait-and-see approach with Omarion Hampton after just 12 carries and zero targets.
If Brock Bowers remains out, I'm probably avoiding the Raiders passing game.
Ladd McConkey was off to a strong start before leaving with a rib injury. If he's out, Quentin Johnston and Tre Harris become interesting salary savers.
WAS⛑️ AT DAL🤠
This could be one of the games that gets overlooked after both teams lost in Week 1.
Terry McLaurin still played 87% of Washington's snaps despite the quiet fantasy day, and a Jayden Daniels + Stefon Diggs + McLaurin stack costs just $16,800.
That's a pretty interesting starting point.
On the Dallas side, Javonte Williams handled 17 touches and CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens remain the obvious pieces.
Chig Okonkwo is another name to monitor depending on his status after Likely's performance against Dallas.
SEA🟢 AT ARI🐦
Jaxon Smith-Njigba dominated Seattle's receiving work in Week 1 and is now the most expensive WR on the slate at $8,100.
He's still in play every week.
The Seattle RB situation is less appealing, although Jadarian Price could see more work with extra preparation time and Drew Lock under center.
Trey McBride and Michael Wilson remain interesting on the Arizona side.
MIA🐬 AT SF⛏️
This is the game that immediately jumps out as a potential spot for San Francisco to score five TDs.
Christian McCaffrey is $8,000 and is coming off a matchup where Ashton Jeanty just posted 100+ rushing yards, 45 receiving yards, and two TDs against Miami.
That's enough to put CMC firmly on the radar.
Brock Purdy is also interesting at $6,200, while Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle all become more appealing if we're building around the San Francisco offense.
On the Miami side, Caleb Douglas and Malik Washington are both cheap volume plays after seeing seven and eight targets respectively in Week 1.
That's where I'm at on the first look.
It's Monday.
A lot will change between now and Sunday.
NFL DFS First Look is created by @wgabelman and live on @oneweekseason each week! 🔥
