All ready to speak at the symposium this morning.
They have very kindly given us a table to display our merchandise, but I explained that we don't sell merchandise. We prefer for every penny raised to go directly towards brain tumour research.
We are so grateful to have Charlotte's YouTube channel, and we will be playing the compilation video during our presentation. It means so much to be able to share a little of Charlotte's story and let people see the young girl behind the charity.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to speak, raise awareness and help keep Charlotte's legacy alive.

Absolutely vital that we all do what we can to raise awareness on this.

If UK media won’t call out Nigel Farage’s latest bull**** on migration let’s do it ourselves.
New analysis suggests skilled migrants settling in Britain are expected to contribute billions more to the public finances than they cost over their lifetimes - and Farage knows it

In 1996, I left care at 16. Homeless, begging on the streets, with no idea what my future held.
30 years later, we've come a long way. Yet young people are still facing the same failures I did.
We've found our voice. We've built a community. And we're saying enough is enough.
But I'm painfully aware that young people are still facing homelessness, struggling with their mental health and feeling forgotten.
To every young person still fighting to get through each day, I want you to know this, I will never stop campaigning for change. Not for recognition. Not for applause. But for you.

Since the beginning of Trump’s second term, American democracy has been unwound at frightening speed.
Analysis by the V-Dem Institute shows the rate of democratic backsliding in the US is faster than we saw in Hungary, India, Russia, or Serbia.
And if we don’t take urgent action it could happen here too

Following the Covid Inquiry's damning verdict on @MattHancock, we've launched a petition to remove him from the Privy Council.
His actions led to thousands of avoidable deaths.
This is a first symbolic step towards accountability.

Re #CovidInquiryUK a complete whitewash, despite us submitting 48 real time reports which included evidence from hundreds of #Whistleblowers on issues such as,
Residents needlessly sedated or locked in their rooms to stop people with dementia wandering.
Discharges into so called "designated" homes and much more.
We are absolutely appalled by the conclusions especially in relation to Isolation in care homes given our evidence. The @covidinquiryuk fails to even mention the word #whistleblower
Hundreds of staff risked every thing to report concerns and yet they are completely ignored by @covidinquiryuk who have even ignored the fact that we successfully challenged the @CareQualityComm decision to withhold vital information on how many people died in residential care settings (as opposed to nursing homes) with no medical care whatsoever. Deaths in care homes are all lumped together. @covidinquiryuk is a complete whitewash.

🟢 Alex Armstrong, GB News apology to Mothin Ali, Deputy Leader of the Green Party.
Mr Armstrong posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Mr Ali paricipated in the Harehills riots when he was actually asked by police to calm protesters. The posts are false and defamatory.
@MothinAli
On 19 July 2024, I published two posts on my X account in which I made allegations about Mr Mothin Ali being involved in the Harehills riots. I have accepted these were incorrect and I have jointly made a statement in open Court in order to apologise to Mr Ali and correct the record which is below.

One year on. Still waiting to hear from the ICO about my complaint challenging Durham CC’s use of the Section 40(2) exemption to withhold information about public money spent on Grimes.
The Council’s FOI response recorded 15 complaints, rather than the 'hundreds' Grimes claimed.

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE!
For some people with blood cancer, a second stem cell transplant isn't just a treatment option - it’s their only chance at survival.
That’s why I’m joining @AnthonyNolan, @DKMS_uk & @LeukUK in calling on @NHSEngland to update their policy on second transplants, so no one is denied potentially lifesaving treatment
We need 100,000 signatures which would mean the petition is considered for debate in Parliament. Please sign the petition - it only takes a moment and let’s give all patients the fair chance they deserve🙏

1. #LeicsCountyHall confirms the Director made the repayment decisions. This undermines Cllr #MJSquiresReform’s claim that Fowler made the specific £26.9m decision: the Council identifies Fowler’s role in proposing the framework, not deciding those repayments.
