Is Sanwo-Olu not our servant?
And that applies to everyone of them as well. Fashola, Wike, etc.
Treating people whose salaries are paid with your tax like gods is part of why we are here.
“Governor Sanwo-Olu invited me to the Governor’s Office to apologize after I was harassed and arrested during #EndSARS
I told him to come to my house instead… you are our servant, you work for me 😳💔”
This is what sanwo olu have dragged himself to.

I stopped at a canteen to have some amala in Offa few days ago and a guy approached me.
I'm used to being approached everywhere and most times I even interject with "From social media abi?" once a stranger walks towards me in such manner.
"Sir, I know you? I was a student of the University of Offa and, last year, you came to our school to talk to us on career and encouraged us", the young man started.
He was wearing what appeared to be commercial okada rider jacket.
A few seconds of confusion. Do I have Twitter followers riding okada? This guy looks too polished to be an okada rider.
"I brought someone here", he added.
This looks like someone I need to have deeper discussion with so I gave him my Whatsapp number as I felt he was at the mercy of the passenger he brought.
Not in a hurry as I had thought as I still saw him after I settled at my table, so I asked him to grab a chair and let us talk the talk immediately rather than on Whatsapp later.
His story goes: He was an accounting student, and was encouraged by the career talk I had given last year and he had enrolled for ICAN ATS, passed stage 1 and expecting result of stage 2 he wrote recently. ICAN has 5-6 stages for ATS route (non-graduate route).
"So what happened? Were you rusticated?", I quipped, with each morsel of amala becoming heavier in my hand.
Then series of bombshells: He had lost both parents. He had been fending for himself almost all his life. He is in his mid 20s. He came to Offa from a nearby village five years ago, for NCE. He got admission into UniOffa as DE to 200L. He spent nights working at a poultry and days a student.
More bombshells: He dropped out in 300L when he could not afford school fees. He could not raise the school fees when he resumed 300L. The poultry work was stressful too. So he started doing okada.
More: His CGPA at the end of 200L was 4.0/5.0. A solid CGPA.
UniOffa school fee is less than N400k, one of the cheapest private universities in Nigeria.
ICAN is cheaper (less than N100k per diet?) but I told him immediately that that ICAN will be useless without a degree. He has to go back to school and complete the degree. Serious employer looks at your degree before your professional cert.
I'm on the Governing Council of the school (he didn't know - a surprise - and he probably thought I was just brought as an external speaker at that career event. And I didn't tell him.) I asked him to go back to the school and enquire whether he can resume the 300L that just started (his set are in 400L now but that shouldn't matter).
I have seen people struggle in life. Not the worst experience, but my mind kept flashing back. Someone is dropping out of school, from a brilliant 4-pointer accounting student to an okada rider because, all his life, he couldn't raise sub N400k. An amount some guys spend on a random night at a tier 3 club.
Touching.
Joe will finish that degree. In shaa Allah.

I have always known you to be ignorant, so I am not surprised you have shown your ignorance again.
There is a reason you are a disbeliever. You are one because your heart is sealed from seeing the deep wisdom in everyday things. All this does not make sense to you because you view life through a very shallow and disconnected lens. So, I am not surprised.
But the purpose of those who want to learn, please pay attention.
You mock the practice of entering the toilet with the left foot and leaving with the right. To you, doing this just to pass waste is meaningless right? That’s how hypocrites and unbelievers whom the Almighty has sealed their hearts would think.
Islam uses these physical actions to build mental discipline. When you train your brain to switch your leading foot based on whether you are stepping into a place of impurity or a clean space, you stop living on autopilot. You become fully conscious of your environment.
You also laughed at seeking protection and asking for forgiveness. Do you know that the bathroom is a place of impurity?
If yes, then this makes it a natural dwelling environment for Jinns and malevolent unseen entities. When you are in there, you are completely exposed. Therefore, seeking protection before stepping in is a logical shield against these entities while in your most vulnerable state.
Even if you look outside Islam, historical records from various ancient cultures and modern parapsychology studies universally agree that dirty spaces harbor negative energies and dark spirits.
Why do you think the complete religion (Islam) would not have an etiquette for such places?
If you want to know more, go and read Dion Fortune's Psychic Self-Defense or Mary Douglas's Purity and Danger, it will help your ignorance. You shouldn't die as a blockhead at least.
Your knowledge of the world is so limited, yet you want to rely entirely on your brain. How can you rely on a brain with nothing inside it?
Again, if you truly understand the points above, asking for forgiveness after leaving is the highest level of human gratitude.
Think of it this way, you just expelled toxic waste from your system. If that waste stayed inside you for a few days, you would die. Your kidneys and intestines did serious physical labour to keep you alive without your permission. People are hooked to machines in hospitals spending millions just to pass urine, and you do it for free.
The natural response to that level of blessing is realizing you can never be grateful enough. You ask God for forgiveness because your human gratitude will never match the blessing of a functioning body. Islam is about gratitude and worship to our lord. We can’t thank him enough.
A day is coming when you will not able to respond naturally to these biological processes, that’s when you will remember this tweet.
Jsyk, there is nothing like tragedy in devotion to our lord. Instead, living blindly like an animal that just eats and expels waste without a single moment of reflection is the real tragedy.
Your constant attack on Islam is you defining how your end of life will be. Your forefathers failed several times doing this same thing. Go and read about how they ended eventually. Yours will not be different.
Allah knows best.

There is something I want you all to observe particularly under this tweet. There is now a growing crop of people proudly claiming the "Ex-Muslim" identity. I hope you are not surprised. Do not be.
This is just the manifestation of a divine prophecy. If you look into the history of their fathers and grandfathers, you will find righteous men. They were people who fought fiercely to establish monotheism in Yorubaland.
So what happened? A complete breakdown of spiritual discipline. They traded the substance of faith for worldly validation and chased the illusions of modern secularism.
Some even went back to Shirk, and the justified it by calling Islam an Arab religion. They view Islam as strange and incompatible with Yoruba culture because Islam demands that all cultural practices submit to divine law.
It strips away the ancestral idol worship, traditional divination, and rituals they want to resurrect under the guise of cultural identity and tribal pride.
And anyone who is standing firm, they call them names. They label steadfast Muslims as 'Eru Arabu' (slaves of the Arabs). They slander them. They call them unprintable names. They label them as brainwashed victims who have lost their roots.
They hurl these insults to mask their own spiritual insecurity and make themselves feel better about abandoning the truth.
The Almighty already told us this would happen. He said:
"But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil (Ghayya)."
When a generation abandons their primary connection to their Creator, the natural result is intellectual and spiritual bankruptcy.
For the Muslims standing firm, take this as glad tidings. This is an active filtering process separating the sincere from the hypocrites. The religion does not decrease because they left.
As for those mocking the faith of their noble ancestors, their end is already stated in the completion of the verse I cited above. "Ghayya" signifies utter destruction and a specific valley of severe punishment in Hellfire.
They will face the severe consequences of their rebellion on a day when their secular arrogance and revived idols will offer no rescue.
Allah knows best.

As Muslims, we should know when to draw the line. Culturally and historically, the leader of all kings in Yorubaland is the Ooni of Ife. Any attempt to override this reality under a religious banner is a direct recipe for disaster and chaos.
The Mufti of Iwo is not a representative of Islam. And his claim that a king deserves no respect simply because he is not a Muslim is wrong and un-Islamic.
When the Prophet (peace be upon him) wrote to non-Muslim rulers, he acknowledged their worldly authority. He addressed Heraclius as "Hiraql, ‘Azeem ar-Room" (Heraclius, the Great of Rome). Likewise, he addressed the ruler of Persia as "Kisra, ‘Azeem Faris" (Chosroes, the Great of Persia).
He did this to teach us diplomatic wisdom. He did this to show us that acknowledging a leader's secular authority does not validate their disbelief. It establishes a baseline of respect necessary for peaceful coexistence.
If the Prophet afforded non-Muslim leaders their due titles, why is the Mufti of Iwo inventing his own standard?
I am forced to believe this agenda is strictly political, conveniently masked under the banner of Islam. A king is the traditional ruler of his community, not the Imam.
Again, because a king is not a Muslim does not strip him of that authority. As long as a king has not trampled on our rights as Muslims, he deserves our unreserved respect.
The Mufti of Iwo wants us to believe that Oluwo is the leader of everybody, including the Muslims in Iwo, but somehow, a non-Muslim king isn’t deserving of being regarded as the undisputed leader in his own territory.
If the Emir of Ilorin can be the undisputed leader of the Ilorin Emirate, why is it wrong for the Soun of Ogbomoso to be the undisputed leader in Ogbomoso?
What is the difference? Islam.
Unfortunately, the Mufti is inventing his own standard. This is not Islam. This is a blatant innovation. Using religion as a condition to respect traditional authority is preposterous.
Like I said earlier, I know the Mufti and the Oluwo are cooking something. I do not know what it is yet, but one thing is sure. Peace is not on the menu.
Update 🚨
Oluwo has been crowned the Amir/Leader of all Kings in Yoruba Land. Hope this thing won't cause another wahala like this?
The Yoruba monarchical system is built on deep rooted hierarchies. I sincerely don’t know how to explain this. I see it as an overstretch.
The Mufti of Iwo is cooking. I don’t what he is cooking. But one thing is sure. Peace is not on the menu.
I wish Dr Imran Eleha didn't honor the invitation.

With due respect, you need to learn customer management better.
All of this would have been avoided if you responded to the first set of messages.
That customer is panicking and she just needed information and for you to calm her down.
You also can’t keep mentioning the driver, She has no relationship with the driver, she paid money to YOU, not the driver, so any issues with him is on you.
Also saying “Cause of gummies” is disrespectful to your customer and your business, because if it was in-fact “Just gummies”, you wouldn’t be selling them.
