VA diagnosed me long ago with profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. Every four years or so I’m provided with new hearing aids that fail to allow me to hear well. Each time I’m given new hearing aids I’m assured that the new pair will be better than the previous pair yet they never are . I’m still left unable to process conversations and still trying to read television closed captions while also try to watch the tv program while reading them which is simply not possible. I either miss parts of the closed captioning or I miss part of the on-screen program. I eventually had no choice but to tender my resignation for my cleared position at the NSA as I could not hear in conference room meetings nor on my phones nor in most other areas at the Agency. I’ve been provided about 4 or 5 pair of VA hearings aids to date and none have allowed me to hear any better than the previous pair. I recently underwent my most recent hearing test at the MARTINSBURG WV VAMC and once again I was told that I’ll be given new hearing aids and that they’ll be better than my current pair, which I’ve been told many times in the last only to find it never to be true. During my most recent hearing exam the VA Audiologist stopped the background noise portion of the exam about a minute or two into it and advised me that it was of no use to continue the background noise test because he found me to be unable to hear anything once background noise was added to the test. If VA has nothing to improve my particular type of hearing loss I would rather forgo the wasting of VA funds on devices that simply don’t work for me, the funds would be better spent on Veterans whom the hearing aids actually do work for. I sincerely do appreciate all that VA does for me I truly do but the let downs that follow the promises of better hearing leads me into periods of increased depression and to be honest I would just rather accept that my hearing loss has no fix rather than count on assurances that are never true.🇺🇸

I would have parked my talent at NSA longer term had it not been for the blatant internal discrimination I faced daily due to my profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. I met some great people inside NSA whom I’m truly honored to have had cross my path in life but unfortunately I met far more whom my life would have been better off never having known. My advice is simple for all desiring to work as cleared employees within NSA: Pursue employment on the Operations side of the Agency only. You’re doing a little yet not a lot better at managing your business side NSAW. You’ve still yet to unload Chelsea C. Tyding’s whose skills are undeserving of her GG14 pay grade. You’ve moved Mona L, D-Saffran to the Pentagon but she should have been unloaded from federal service. You’ve also yet to unload Vera M. Fitch who should have been removed long ago. Todd C. Betler took the buyout but you’re fortunate he returned to the inside via a contractor position, he has the accounting skills worthy of his earnings. If your inside personnel ever see the day that your highly discriminatory work environment against your disabled employees as well as your black employees should improve it may just make NSAW a worthy employer someday. BTW, I do still have the 168 pages of internal emails that clearly prove the blatant and exceedingly high level of discrimination on your business side. I’ve also recently shared the atrocious Settlement Agreement offered to me by NSAW, the one I opted not to accept. I do hope that NSA-Washington someday becomes worthy of the budget funding that American taxpayers work so hard to provide 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

To all individuals interested in working for the NSA I strongly suggest you first read my many critiques of the Agency I’ve placed on many of the existing online sites such as but not limited to GlassDoor, Linkedin, Clearance Jobs etc. I’ve also left numerous additional critiques on the outer edges of the worldwide web which will require utilization of the Tor Browser should you wish to access those critiques. Fellow Americans matter to me as do the efforts they put forth in achieving success in the jobs sector. One of the most critical requisites in achieving success in the federal jobs sector is partnering with an Agency that not only appreciates your efforts but one that also values your worth and treats you with the respect, and dignity you deserve. Americas NSA has far to go before being worthy of exemplary personnel. Life is short don’t waste yours at a low caliber federal agency such as Americas NSA🇺🇸 if your truly interested in a career inside the US Intell Sector consider a career in the CIA workforce🇺🇸
