TANGLES perfectly captures just how upsetting it can be to watch someone you love live with dementia, how easily denial can creep in, and how differently everyone reacts to it. But it’s also genuinely funny, finding humour in the middle of all that heartbreak without ever diminishing the pain of it. I was literally laughing through the pain, laughing out loud one minute and wiping tears from my face the next.

WILDWOOD is now playing in theatres and I believe everyone should get a ticket to see it — it is one of the most impressive stop motion films I’ve ever seen. We must go out and support human craftsmanship, and support this incredibly beautiful piece of art 🤍

THE DEBUT genuinely is one of the greatest movies. Brilliant script and direction; the performances are out of this world — Moore and Paul Giamatti both give a masterclass in acting. We laughed, we cheered, we clapped, and I just had the best time tonight. What a way to end #LFF! Long live movies and community theatre 🎭💘

ARTIFICIAL is a highly effective statement to society, urging us to look up from our screens and take action [...] Brutal, terrifying, but necessary.   Read @deetsdoots 4 ⭐️ review from #LFF here: wspotlight.blogspot.com/2026…

I have no words that can describe YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING. This documentary is possibly the ultimate game of 3-dimensional chess between a master manipulator and a filmmaker who likes getting in people's heads.

EXCLUSIVE: Laika’s "Wildwood" took five years to complete its terrifying murder of crows sequence, inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds.” “We had to reinvent our processes in so many ways to meet the demands of this project. It was the largest and most complex film we’ve ever done,” says production designer Nelson Lowry. Watch the scene here: variety.com/2026/film/news/w…

Crash is a notoriously difficult film, and it means to be. Codie does such a great job here. Check this one out!
Thirty years later, David Cronenberg’s CRASH remains a dangerously seductive collision of sex, violence, obsession, and the strange intimacy between flesh and machine. Read @caonfilm anniversary review here: wspotlight.blogspot.com/2026…

My review for VINTAGE VIOLENCE
VINTAGE VIOLENCE is less vintage violence and more of a vintage disappointment. Read @MulloyElizabeth 2 ⭐️ review from #TIFF here: wspotlight.blogspot.com/2026…

there's a lot of valid criticism to be made of breakfast at tiffany's, especially its racist and offensive portrayal of asian characters, which was completely unnecessary. but despite its flaws, it remains one of my favorite classics 🖤 read my piece below!
65 years later, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S is still a movie @caonfilm can return to and enjoy while recognizing that it is not perfect 💎 Read their anniversary piece here: wspotlight.blogspot.com/2026…

30 years later, bound remains a sexy, stylish, and unapologetically queer crime thriller that still feels revolutionary to this day! read my piece below :) 🖤
Three decades later, there have been countless queer films that have expanded the possibilities of LGBTQ+ storytelling, but BOUND remains remarkably difficult to replicate 🖤 Read @caonfilm anniversary piece here: wspotlight.blogspot.com/2026…
