I’m always amazed at how concisely others can say what seems to take me hundreds of words. @jboogie summarizes story mapping really well here. We’re working together today to launch a short workshop on this. jeffgothelf.com/blog/okr-and… – at Salt Lake City, UT

Final point on the whole "Black kids took my college spot!" Lie. Folks sometimes say, "if I were Black, I would've gotten in!" No, you wouldn't. Many of the Black kids from bad schools that get into Ivies, are in the top 0.05% of Black kids nationwide, despite daily challenges.

One hat at a time: change the behavior of the system or change the structure. Changing both introduces too much wiggle. My employer @mech_orchard changes the structure of vintage code first. Once the foundation is firm we can discuss next options. mechanical-orchard.com/post/…

I’ve been using these diagrams for so long I forget that other people don’t know the notation. When we are understanding systems it helps to understand how one effect affects another. Sometimes more of one effect causes more of another (more errors causes more fear).
