Eight years ago, six Catholic nuns publicly campaigned against a bishop, accusing him of raping one of them. Today, three of the sisters, still clad in Carmelite brown, have started a clothing business to put food on their table after they say the church hierarchy abandoned them. I went to their dwelling to speak to them. Here is that conversation.

Modi did not plead for forgiveness but he said, "I forgive you" meaning he is the victim. The students who died and protested and got hurt for NEET and protested at Jantar Mantar have no value and they are the aggressors
After the Prime Minister appealed for forgiveness towards those who crossed every line of civility during the protests at Jantar Mantar, and we have all seen the videos of who those so-called “students” were, the usual ecosystem predictably swung into action.
Suddenly, there was a coordinated chorus claiming, “They are citizens, not his daughters.” Others, like Yogendra Yadav, delivered lectures about “infantilising” young people.
Please spare us the sermons.
This is the same Prime Minister who, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, urged parents to ask their sons where they were at night instead of policing only their daughters. His concern has never been selective. It has always been about the responsibility of society towards its young.
That is the difference between a statesman and career politicians.
A statesman understands that children and young people are the nation’s future. Even when they are misled, he believes they should be guided back into the national mainstream, not exploited as cannon fodder for political agendas.
Those obsessed with outrage and political point-scoring may never understand that sentiment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s politics has consistently been about nation-building, not harvesting anger.
If you wish to challenge him, do it on governance, ideas or performance. His record is there for everyone to see.
Manufactured outrage and sanctimonious lectures won’t diminish the stature of a leader who chooses reconciliation over retribution.
Team Bharat is organising :
The Gaadi March against mandatory Ethanol 20 blending policy and here are our demands :
* Make E10 available for E10 compliant vehicles, numbering about 80-90% of the vehicles currently on Indian roads!
* Drop the price of pure petrol (E0) to ₹90/ litre versus the current ₹165-170/ litre.
* Reduce the price of E20 petrol to ₹78/ litre and pass on the subsidies to We The People rather than Ethanol distilleries.
* Put all documents of E20Fuel policy in public domain.
* Shri Nitin Gadkari ji is in Conflict of Interest & has mislead the country wrt Petrol prices. Hardeep Puri ji & he must be held accountable!
Join us on 31st JULY from INDIA GATE to PARLIAMENT STREET!
VIDEO | Delhi: Tehseen Poonawalla (@tehseenp), founder of Team Bharat, informing on proposed 'Gaadi March, Gandhi March' on July 31, says, "On July 31, we are doing a 'Gaadi March, Gandhi March', Mahatma Gandhi did Dandi March, we will do a march over petrol... The vehicle march will start from India Gate, then we will go to the offices of Hardeep Puri and Nitin Gadkari, then we will get off at Parliament... We are not against ethanol policy, we are against mandatory ethanol blending, especiallly E20. We say, 80-90 pc vehicles on road are E10 compliant, you can give E10 to them. We want the price of plain petrol, to come down to Rs 90 per litre, there should be 20 pc discount on E20, it should be sold at Rs 78 per litre. We want all the documents related to E20 policy to be made public. Also, the vehicles which ran into problems with E20, find a solution for them."

The Jantar Mantar protest site has become a breeding ground for criminals. Women are being eve teased, people are hurling abuses at everyone with even a speck of perspective other than their own and people gathered are turning violent without provocation. The government should have the site and beyond cleared as soon as possible, whatever be the means.
There is nothing less than Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resignation to begin any sort of negotiations
🚨 Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the government is ready for a discussion on the NEET issue in Parliament. Referring to the Congress protest outside the Prime Minister's residence, he said the Centre remains committed to addressing students' concerns through discussion, reforms and accountability.
