We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sway. 🕊️
In 2005, he made MOBO history, beating global heavyweights including 50 Cent and The Game to win Best Hip-Hop Act - a huge moment for Sway and UK Hip Hop.
Proud to have him as part of our history. Our love goes out to his family, loved ones and fans. ❤️

Watching this Emma Grede x Issa Rae episode and she's talking about how she landed a huge opportunity with Shonda Rhimes but fumbled it because she was too busy trying to be perfect for them, not realizing they wanted her because of HER unique talents. Huge lesson in that.

The trick to flexible wfh is to start working at 7am and finish at 2pm. You’ll feel like you have so much more time in the day.
Do you ever take a step back, look at your life and say Woow. God really came through for me, like he really favours me. Thankful for the support system, the family, the friends who stayed and more importantly for me believing in me because I look back and see how far I have come and it’s not by my power alone.

i think traveling and taking trips is one of the best things for your mental health, you need a change of scenery as much as possible
Being in tech doesn’t mean the learning stops. I dedicate at least 10 hours a week to staying ahead, diving into which tools are trending in the sectors I work with, keeping tabs on new SaaS providers entering the space, and tracking emerging services that could shift how things are done.
But that’s just part of it. I also stay close to regulatory developments. Take Awabbs Law coming in this October. It’s already sparked a noticeable uptick in organisations looking for support with compliance. That’s where my consultancy steps in.
The real takeaway? Knowing how to code is only about 30% of what’s needed. The rest is business mindset, understanding industries, anticipating needs, and navigating the regulations that shape your clients’ worlds. Think beyond the tech.
