This is very frustrating. I find that other Canadians know as little as Americans seem to about this. BC political history has been incredibly strange and there are reasons why we had a Conservative Party with a Liberal name. The NDP were more similar to federal liberals

So voter turnout in #bcpoli yesterday was the lowest in BC history. Meaning the conservatives gained 20 seats with nearly 50,000 fewer votes. NDP lost 275,000 votes. There wasn’t an increase in con support as much as a collapse in NDP support.
