Folks with similar doubt about Magnus for Burgundy Credit card.. The date of transaction counts for the calculation and not the settlement date. So in this case it will be counted towards Oct spends..
For Axis bank credit card users - if I make a M4B card transaction say tomo (31st Oct) & it settles on 1st Nov, will it count towards Oct or Nov monthly spend? Any recent experience datapoints? Thanks!

As a parent, I think it’s perfectly okay to request for something like this. To those asking, “What will you even do with the certificate?” Guys not everything needs to have a practical use to hold value. Some things matter because they mark a milestone, remind us of a special day, or simply carry sentimental value. And that’s perfectly fine. Not everything we cherish needs to make sense to everyone else. He was simply trying his luck on Twitter to make his child’s first flight a little more memorable. Let’s be a little kinder and not turn every harmless request into a debate. 🙂
Why do people make such a big deal out of every little thing? My child has travelled on more than 10 flights, and we’ve never asked for any complimentary gifts or special treatment so far. If an airline offers something complimentary, that’s great. But why should we ask for it? And honestly, what are you going to do with a “First Flight Certificate”? It’s not a marksheet that will be useful in the future! 😅

Book recommendation 📚 The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson is an absolute page-turner! A brilliantly crafted psychological thriller packed with unexpected twists, morally grey characters, and suspense that keeps you hooked till the very end. Highly recommended if you love thrillers! 🔥

I agree! Looking forward to detailed reviews from automotive experts. One important point to consider: this is Renault’s first-generation hybrid technology in India. It’ll be interesting to see how reliable and durable it proves to be in real-world Indian conditions, especially over the long term.
Renault Duster Strong Hybrid might be the best SUV you can buy under ₹20 lakh if you actually enjoy driving. 160 PS. Real world fuel efficiency of 20+ km/l. Hybrid gearbox without e-CVT rubber-band feel. Brilliant handling, excellent ride quality and 212 mm of ground clearance. All this at ₹16.99–19.49 lakh ex-showroom. The best part? You don’t have to sacrifice driving pleasure for fuel efficiency. We keep asking manufacturers for more powerful, efficient cars that are fun to drive without costing a fortune. Renault has delivered exactly that. ❤️

I’m in Bhopal, and the condition of the city and Madhya Pradesh as a whole is genuinely disheartening. Just look at some of the numbers and incidents: > ₹100crore + : The reported estimated cost of the BJP’s proposed new state headquarters in Bhopal, planned with modern facilities including a helipad. > ₹18 crore : Spent constructing Bhopal’s infamous Aishbagh railway overbridge, whose near-right-angle turn became a national talking point and led to action against engineers. > 10,000 saplings : A plantation contract in Kaliyasot allegedly resulted in mature, healthy trees being cut down to make room for new plants. The contractor was fined just ₹3.5 lakh. > 4,105 trees : Felled for the Kolar six-lane road project, with the NGT questioning permissions and compensatory afforestation. > ₹1,134 crore : Purchases examined across 374 urban local bodies, with a government analysis estimating potential savings of ₹250 crore. One example: a 60W LED bulb reportedly procured in Bhopal for ₹11,800, compared with ₹306 elsewhere. >₹30 crore : The reported cost of a Narsinghpur bridge that developed potholes and cracks within six months, an incident highlighted by @khurpenchh These are not all proven corruption cases, but collectively they raise serious questions about planning, procurement, environmental protection and public accountability. Madhya Pradesh had the opportunity to become the BJP’s second model state, demonstrating what decades of political continuity could achieve. Instead, I find myself questioning why the basics of governance remain such a struggle. And this is only scratching the surface. We desperately need credible political alternatives, fresh ideas and a new generation of leaders willing to challenge the status quo. A state with so much potential deserves far better.

The way Delhi-NCR has developed and expanded its metro network is a model worth studying and replicating across major Indian cities! I have colleagues who live in Delhi and commute to Gurugram every single day for work, thanks to the metro connectivity. This is what good public transport infrastructure can enable: seamless mobility across cities!
Infra done right: Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat RRTS doubled passengers in one year. Shweta Sharma, who lives in Partapur in Meerut, said her son leaves home at 8.30 am, takes the Namo Bharat train to Sarai Kale Khan and then the Delhi Metro to Kalkaji Mandir, reaching JIMS Kalkaji in time for his 10 am lectures. He is usually back home by 6 pm. “It is as good as staying in Delhi,” she said. The implications for real estate are mind-boggling. indianexpress.com/article/ci… via @IndianExpress

.@airindia Giving this another shot, but the issue still seems unresolved. I've booked my Air India Express tickets using Air India points, but I'm unable to add an infant to the booking. Could you please help me book the infant's ticket?
Finally got some time to write about this experience, because honestly, Air India Express needs to fix this. 😐 I was travelling Delhi → Bhopal on an Air India Express flight with an infant 👶 For myself, my wife and mother-in-law, I booked the tickets using Air India points. Since there was no option to add an infant online, I called Air India Express customer care and got it booked through them. I also completed web check-in and selected our seats. ✅ So I thought everything was sorted. It wasn't. 😐 At the airport, we were told at the check-in counter that the ticket wasn't showing up in their system. We were asked to go to the ticketing counter outside the airport. 🤦‍♂️ Imagine doing that with an infant, luggage, family, and after already completing the booking, web check-in and seat selection. 😓 Apparently, because I had booked through Air India and the flight was a codeshare operated by Air India Express, there was an issue adding the infant to our booking. Thankfully, I had booked the Meet & Greet service using Axis Magnus for Burgundy. 🙏 Having someone take care of the luggage and help us through priority check-in and security was an absolute blessing. ❤️ Honestly, we might have missed the flight without them. 😰 But the drama didn't end there. 🙃 The seats printed on our boarding passes were actually assigned to someone else. We had to speak to the cabin crew and eventually got the seats we had originally selected. At this point, I thought I'd learnt my lesson: "Never try booking an infant ticket through customer care. Just buy it at the airport." So for the return journey, Bhopal → Delhi, 👇 I reached the airport much earlier than usual and went straight to the Air India Express counter to purchase the infant ticket. Only to be told: "The check-in counter will take the payment. We just need to add the infant to your PNR so you can enter the airport." Okay. 🤷‍♂️ Went inside. Reached the check-in counter. Nobody knew what to do. 🤦‍♂️ First, I was asked to wait. I waited for ~45 minutes. ⏳ Then I was asked to call customer care. Customer care couldn't book the infant ticket either and told me to speak to the ground staff. Finally, someone took ownership of the problem and somehow issued the infant ticket through some jugaad. 😅🙏 We ended up being the last passengers to board the flight. 🏃‍♂️✈️ And while standing at the counter, I noticed several other passengers dealing with completely different issues. That's when it struck me: This doesn't feel like an isolated incident. There seems to be a serious disconnect between Air India, Air India Express, their customer-care systems and the airport ground teams. 🔴 And when you're travelling with an infant, these aren't small inconveniences. They're extremely stressful situations that can potentially make you miss your flight altogether. 😓 After this experience, my trust in Air India Express has taken a serious hit. @airindia @AirIndiaX Please fix this. 🙏 Your passengers shouldn't have to rely on airport staff doing jugaad to make your systems work. 🙏✈️

Update on the Air India infant booking issue! This time, I called the priority support desk at @airindia to make the bookings. Took about 35 minutes, but the team booked round-trip tickets for my kid and assured me everything was sorted. The trick? DON’T CHECK IN ONLINE! Get it done at the airport counter instead. And it worked! The airport experience was smooth, with no issues whatsoever. Glad this finally worked out! ✈️

Got to check out the iPhone Duo, and it’s genuinely a fascinating piece of tech! A very Apple take on the foldable. The build quality is excellent, and the whole thing feels incredibly well-designed and thoughtfully put together. Kudos to the team at @Apple! I can totally see the appeal. And thanks @parthkochhar for telling me there was one sitting in a shop right next to our office! 😂
