One thing this electoralism discourse showed me is how easily we celebrate hollow victories simply because Islamophobes, Zionists, and anti-Arab racists are upset. We've become so obsessed with opposing them that we've let their outrage define our victories. I think it’s important we remember that they’re not the center of our politics. Our liberation is. We have to make goals with liberation in mind or otherwise we become trapped in a cycle of their cries (and trust me, they’ll bitch about everything).
