📖Kenyan football is more than goals and celebrations. It’s pain. It’s politics. It’s privilege. Away from Victory pulls back the curtain on the realities we whisper about but rarely confront. Really nice. 3K FC has better numbers than Seal btw. They’re already doing better than seasoned regional clubs like Bandari.

Correct, where you are born plays a bit role on the opportunities you get in this life, especially football, education and conmen.
The gap between the USA U17 and Kenya’s Junior Starlets goes beyond talent. It reflects differences in player development, grassroots structures, competitive exposure, infrastructure and investment. Kenya’s girls have the potential, but potential alone cannot bridge a gap created by years of systematic development. We cannot expect our teenagers to compete on equal terms with their American counterparts when the systems preparing them are worlds apart. This is a challenge for FKF to ensure that youth football receives the investment, structures and long-term planning needed to compete at the highest level. It is a challenge FKF can win by building a sustainable development system that nurtures talent, prepares young players for elite competition and gives future generations a genuine chance to compete with the world's best. @pepeta_ke | #FootballKE

I'll pick Nora. She is proven she is good and Kenya one thing if we go the meritocracy way we got some of the best female talent in the continent.

Not one of the four. The next Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF) will come from the Kenya Army under the traditional Tonje Rules. Bypassing the rules risks demoralising KDF branches and introducing unwanted political polarisation into the military ranks, and I don't think the President would want that now.
One of these four gentlemen will become the next Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF) in the coming months, perhaps even weeks if changes are made in November. Quite remarkably, all four are 58 years old, the recommended retirement age for a Lieutenant General under the Tonje Rules. This means that the three who miss out on the promotion will have to retire. 1. Lt Gen John Mugaravai Omenda - Born in Vihiga County, Omenda is a celebrated fighter pilot whose exploits during Operation Linda Nchi are widely cited within the KDF. Under the Tonje Rules, he may not be the natural choice, given the convention that the next CDF should come from the Kenya Army. However, Kenya Air Force officers argue that their tenure under Gen Ogolla was cut short. The President and the Defence Council could, therefore, decide to accommodate their position. 2. Lt Gen David Kipkemboi Keterr - Born in Nandi County, Keter has served as a Lieutenant General for the shortest period among the four, making him the least experienced in that rank. In terms of military command, his current position as Commander of the Kenya Army arguably carries greater operational authority than that of the CDF. 3. Lt Gen David Kimaiyo Tarus - Born in Uasin Gishu County, Tarus was shaped by his service in the 75th Artillery Battalion. Indeed, appointing Tarus while retaining Keter as Commander of the Kenya Army would not be without precedent. Gen Tonje served as Chief of General Staff (CGS) while Lt Gen Cheruiyot commanded the Kenya Army. Similarly, Gen Kibochi served as CDF while Lt Gen Peter Njiru was Commander of the Kenya Army. If appointed,he would remarkably become only the second Kalenjin to attain four-star general status, after Gen Tonje. 4. Lt Gen Juma Shee Mwinyikai - Born in Kilifi County, Mwinyikai is preferred candidate and the most likely to be appointed. Appointing Mwinyikai could see him become the third four-star general from Kilifi County, after Gen Mwathethe and Gen Kibwana. No other county comes close to that record. Who do you think will take the mantle and become Kenya’s next Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF)?
