One of the best UX's the web ever produced is no longer useful. If anything you're doing right now has to do with traditional UI/UX, you've got maybe a decade of utility in tech. User interfaces will eventually disappear. Agents, chat, voice, infra, videos, games--that's it

wild times ahead. stay safe.
Rumours of 2 Critical CVSS 10 PHP >= 5 RCE vulnerabilities to be released on October 22nd are starting to circulate 👀 No further details at this time, other than the Hacker News post.

every business needs access to it. this is a new constant, and we've already faced it: an attacker can use any model while businesses cannot (PPI, compliance, etc), and the current models refuse to help, giving attackers a HUGE advantage while most businesses remain defenseless. this happened to us twice this week while trying to investigate two patterns from some IPs, then the models refused to help.
Replying to @RhysSullivan
yes that was a bit frustrating mid incident when trying to investigate. they did quite a bit and then started refusing we got access to daybreak blue now so it's better

Today we’re launching three things in Invent: Agents do the work. Routines decide when. Tables keep track. “Every Friday, chase unpaid invoices.” “When a job’s Ready, tell the customer.” One sentence each. That’s the whole setup. useinvent.com

Do NOT EVER put your dev credentials in .env files or any other location an agent can easily look up. Keep it in a password vault, and ensure that it requires a password on every access attempt. Agents are really good at computer use, too. Protect your secrets from your agents.

a weird inversion with LLMs is the models improve faster than the tinkerers when i see people with custom workflows and setups they're all addressing problems that don't exist anymore the person naively using vanilla codex is more likely to be experiencing state of the art

we do a lot of smoke testing at @useinvent, giving the clanker access to specific gated/internal systems is hard, but one day it figured out it could ask me for temporary access via @cloudflare access cli... and it’s beautiful! cli `cloudflared access login`
