In 2023, 16-year-old Bryce Brooks from Atlanta heroically jumped into the ocean in Florida to save four children he didn’t know from drowning. All four children survived, but Bryce was tragically swept away by the current and lost his life.
A family friend, Charles Johnson II, also died attempting to rescue Bryce. Both were hailed as heroes for their courage and selflessness, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and compassion.
