The estimated costs of shutting the North Stand this year is around £6m. The North Stand build is being funded by a combined £150m in ‘private placement’ loans (£90m+£60m). Unai Emery on four years at #AVFC: "I am not celebrating. The only celebration I have is when I can have some days off, or I can rest - another day working. I can remember four years ago when I came here. My birthday is 3rd November and on the day of my birthday I was preparing a game for 24 hours. And now is the same. Ross Barkley is a very good player with experience, and his career, I don't know why, was going down after Chelsea. When we watched him at Luton, we thought, 'Wow, what a player'. I am so happy with how he is playing his football for us, always being respectful whether he is playing or not playing. I am pushing him a lot offensively. I know he can score and can head the ball. I am very demanding of him offensively. I am happy for him."
