The MOD building, Kentigern House, Glasgow. I thought I was being clever by framing the building and the mural, but now I've got home I've noticed I've cut one of the words off. Nikon ZF / Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 SSC

The reason I went to Ashington. 60096, still on Colas livery, on 6N22, the 13:56 Port of Tyne to Lynemouth biomass train. Helpfully for photography the loaded trains have a 10mph restriction on their RT3973 crossing the bridge. Canon A1, Canon FD 50mm F1.4 SSC, Kodak Ektar 100

I seem to be taking lots of photos of bridges at the moment. Here's the Royal Border Bridge in Berwick.

For yesterday's second bridge, we have the viaduct over the Wansbeck in Ashington.

The FPV Minna arriving into Rothesay Dock today. Believe there's a contract out for a new ship to replace this one. Built in 2003, replacing the FPV Westra, which went on to become Sea Shepherd's Steve Irwin, although unlike the Westra this is largely an inshore boat.

I don't really follow artists on Spotify (I'm not quite sure if there's a point), but I do find it very funny that you can follow Global Espionage Agencies (from The Conet Project) I kind of forgot I'd done this until I looked at this list today, and got this slightly odd trio.

A successful Class 60 hunt at Ribblehead, given GBRf have brought a few out of hibernation. Not really much of a hunt admittedly given the timings and loco allocations are public, and I get the planning grids from work, but hopefully have some decent enough photos from the A1.

HelloGoodbye in Glasgow tonight. Quite a fun gig. This is a band I think I found on here, so thanks if that was you.

Some boats in Glasgow today, The Jütland inbound, and the Leyla Askoy at EMR, hopefully being loaded with scrap metal before departing tomorrow evening.

The Leyla Aksoy (spelt correctly this time), leaving Glasgow this evening. Could do with a wash

Is it as cheap as buying direct? Possibly (although not definitely) not. Would it provide a stronger possibility of actually funding new trains when they're needed? Yes. If you think the general public would prefer £5bn spent on trains over hospitals, say, I have a bridge to sell

Quite like this one as well, on the new Lucky 400 film. Not really in focus, but I had to use F/1.4 to get enough light, and manually focusing in a room full of steam, which will happily condense on your lovely cool camera isn't the easiest (or at least that's my excuse)
