Due to the current lockdown our Masters students are unable to carry out dissertation fieldwork. Do any of our wonderful alumni in consultancies have any data they could share for desk based research? 🙏 RT [email protected] – at Birkenhead, England

This is a really good analysis from the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, that looks back at the flooding this month across northern and central England. It also considers the impact of climate change, which at this point is hard to ascertain in detail, without further analysis.
Read a preliminary analysis by @CEHScienceNews @UK_NRFA hydrologists of November 2019 #flooding in northern and central England, in terms of rainfall and river flows. We also consider the role of #climatechange in extreme floods such as these: bit.ly/nov19briefingnote
