This is the best thing I've read today. Meow.
I shouldn't have to post every day or worship Elon Musk just to get seen on X.
My views are terrible and my engagement is practically nonexistent.
So I've decided to try a new content strategy.
Oh, Elon Musk, you're such a visionary! Flying cars! Incredible! Who needs roads anyway?
Starlink is amazing! Thank you for rescuing humanity from the unbearable oppression of overpriced internet!
Tesla! SpaceX! Rockets! Robots! Is there anything this man can't do?
Elon, you magnificent genius! Even your posts are technological breakthroughs!
I've started referring to the sun as Elon's personal fusion reactor.
Gravity? Clearly another Elon innovation.
I'm considering renaming my cat X Æ Meow-12.
There. I've praised Elon, acknowledged his genius, and demonstrated the appropriate level of corporate devotion.
Now, algorithm, be a good little machine and give me my 69
impressions. 😂

Somehow, attending a public shallow entertainment event and skimming ancient texts have become the primary measures of faithfulness. Thank God for religious freedom.
My experience:
Churchianity: I attend a church faithfully and even lead bible studies for ten years, and when I leave, nobody contacts me or even notices.
Also Churchianity: I say on social media that I am not a member of a specific church and it's not a problem for me, and I visit churches as I please, and self identifying Christians dogpile and judge me just over that.
When I'm physically AT a church, nobody notices.
When I say why I don't care if I go to church, so many self-identifying Christian people seem to care and want to fix me by smartassing and bullying me back to church.
Look! We're in growth mode.
Good news in the book industry:
-Sales of print books have increased nearly 25% from a decade ago
-Number of independent bookstores in the US has increased 75% since 2020
-Global book market is expected to grow 5% annually for the next several years

Just because someone can do something doesn't mean they can, or should. Sometimes, the best thing to do is to pay the subscription fee.
The CEO of a $10.5 billion company just posted his company's entire product online for anyone to take, and he couldn't be less worried about it.
His name is Paul Copplestone and he runs Supabase, the behind-the-scenes database a huge number of apps use to store your logins and data. He joked that he had 12 Claude agents grind for six hours to "reverse engineer" Supabase, then shared the link so you could "save your tokens."
The link is Supabase's own GitHub page. Every line of code has been sitting there for free since 2020.
He's trolling a trend that blew up this month. A repo called Reverse Engineer Anything went viral for letting AI agents pick apart any app, there's a steady stream of "I cloned a $1B SaaS with Claude" videos, and pretty much all of them hint that software companies are about to be worth nothing.
Supabase is about the worst company you could pick to make that case. Anyone could have copied it at any point in the last six years without paying a dime, and the valuation still went from $2 billion in April 2025 to $5 billion that October to $10.5 billion this June. Sacra estimates revenue hit about $170 million a year by May.
So why are 250,000+ customers paying for something they could grab for free?
Sacra's math puts the average customer at roughly $700 a year, or about $58 a month. For that, somebody else deals with backups, scaling, security patches, and getting woken up at 3am when the database dies. You can run the whole thing yourself for free, and a quarter million teams looked at that and paid the $58 so they could sleep at night.
And the joke gets even better when you see where the growth is coming from.
More than 60% of new databases on Supabase are now created by AI tools. Lovable and Bolt both run their app backends on it. When an AI builds somebody an app, it needs a real place to store the data, and Supabase says the majority of AI app builders reach for theirs.
So the AI agents that were supposed to make software companies worthless ended up as Supabase's best sales team.
This is Christianity: love others as you love yourself, because you are motivated by Christ's love for you. In doing so, you demonstrate your love for God. Busy yourself with tryng to obey God' law and you will fail God, your neighbor, and yourself. Love fulfills the law.
I was shocked the other day to read a tweet from a young pastor that I know. This is what he said: “I seek to free as many as possible from the soul-enslaving, freedom-killing, conscience-afflicting, assurance destroying, law-gospel confusing errors of lordship salvation.” It’s exactly what Jude is talking about. And why does he pick on antinomians? Why does he pick on them. Because inevitably, those are the people who operate in the church. They come in and create a kind of Christianity that does not denounce people’s sins. You render no service to them by coming up with something like that. What that proves to me is that he has defined Christianity by the law.
Antinomians are no different than legalists because they define Christianity by the law. The legalist says, “I’m a Christian because I keep the law.” An antinomian says, “I’m a Christian because I don’t keep the law.” But in either case, you’re defining your Christianity by the law rather than saying, “I’m a Christian because I love the Lord Jesus Christ.” I define my Christianity as loving Christ.
When Jesus said to Peter, “I need to restore you,” He didn’t say, “Will you keep My law? Will you keep My law? Will you keep My law?” He didn’t say, “Will you be free? Will you be free? Will you be free?” He said, “Do you,”—what?—“do you love Me?”And I don’t have a sign in my house, I haven’t had one there while we raised our family, “Don’t hit the kids. Don’t smack your wife.” I don’t need that sign. The only thing I need to do is love; and love is the fulfilling of the law. — John MacArthur
I'm not a Democrat or a progressive, but here's a pot calling a kettle black.
Socialism is the public ownership of the means of production. What this individual is doing is conflating it with social welfare programs. They are not the same thing.
Also, Jesus concerned himself with the moral conscience of individuals, not government policy. I consider all attempts to make him into some kind of political philosopher one of the highest forms of blasphemy.
If you're going to criticize something, the least you can do is call that something what it is and judge it on its own merits. No need to bring Jesus into it.
I've seen a few of my liberal/left/progressive/Democrat friends sharing this. It reflects a total misunderstanding of what Jesus said.
It boils down to this:
A politician "doing it" means passing a law that takes something from someone else to redistribute it.
In effect, redistributive politicians are parasites. They only consume, not create. They feed on the productive activities of others.
Socialism is coercion—forcing the many to support the few.
And that's at odds with what Jesus called for, for two reasons:
1. Jesus encouraged free will offerings. He told us to give voluntarily—because part of the point of charity is not simply to transfer property to another person, but to transform our souls in the process through the mutual benefit that comes from supporting our brothers and sisters.
2. The "greatest commandments" taught by Jesus were to love God and love others. We cannot reconcile socialism with love, for it is the weaponization of envy and enmity. You don't love someone when you take things from them without their consent.
Those sharing this image either do not understand Christianity, do not understand socialism, or both.
That ignorance needs correction. See below for a book that can help.
Wow. Talking about going out of your way to completely misunderstand intent, this one takes the cake.

Funny how liberals never think like this regarding government handouts. The dependency logic is sound, but it's hypocritical. The conclusion that AI companies will displace the government as the nanny is not sound.
The scenario is highly unlikely because:
1) The government has a 100+ year head start;
2) The government has a massive budgetary head start;
3) And there are a huge number of anti-AI people like @JustineBateman who will never walk this road.
That said, there are reasons to criticize this move. Anthropic replacing Uncle Sam as your sugar daddy is not one of them.
Do you know what this is?
This is the same method used to turn a lot of us into social media zombies, obsessed with posting, and earning money in that manner.
It’s called “I want to make you dependent on my company. I want you to need the success of my business, because you are financially dependent on it to survive. And I can turn it off whenever I want. You are my indentured servants.”
Do you know what’s next? Anthropic and all the other companies with big AI models will replace the government. Not because they took the gov over, but because the public became financially dependent on the AI companies, and also capitulated their decision making to ChatGPT, Claude, and the rest of the idiotic “AI Agents.” The public will simply start obeying the AI systems because they financially and emotionally and intellectually rely on them.
It’s pretty serious. Our systems and our government will be usurped by tech bros running tech companies. And we will have zero representation. We will be indentured slaves.
It’s not for me.
