It turns out Iran didn't shoot a short-range anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) at the USS George Washington and an accompanying destroyer escort but rather medium-range hypersonic "carrier killer" Qassem Bassir ASBMs that can reach speeds of Mach 5-8.
This is the first time in US history that we know of that a US near peer competitor has fired a hypersonic missile of any kind against a US warship. The US Navy has very little defense against hypersonic missiles and so these Iranian hypersonic ASBMs pose a deadly threat to US aircraft carriers and their escorts.
If even one or two hypersonic missiles hit one of our carriers and it caught fire and was forced to withdraw from the region smouldering it would be a massive blow to US prestige. That is something Iran could do at any time whenever it chooses to do so if Trump fooolishly decides to keep escalating his illegal, unconstitutional imperial war of aggression against Iran.
BREAKING: For the first time since the start of the war, Iran's IRGC attempted to hit a US nuclear aircraft carrier in the Gulf of Oman yesterday, using the Qasem Basir medium-range anti-ship ballistic missile which has a range of approximately 1,200km.
In response to the strike, US CENTCOM has permanently disabled 3 Iranian oil tankers, including the M/T Downy off the coast of Kharg Island, the M/T Stark 1 near Jask, and the M/T Kylo in the Gulf of Oman.
Iran now directly warns Trump that "All US naval ships are now targets. Any strikes on Iranian ships will be met with multiple strikes on vessels linked to countries participating in the anti-Iranian aggression."
Iran is again launching anti-ship cruise missiles toward a US aircraft carrier and/or vessels under US Navy escort in the past few minutes, per initial reports.
I would like to commend President Trump for helping to save Brazilian conservative presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro from being imprisoned on false changes by Brazil's Marxist authoritarian regime. Trump reportedly ordered the operation to help him escape to the US and now he has granted asylum to his entire family.

Trump just prevented a severe political persecution. HE KNOWS HOW IT FEELS.
In June 2025, Trump claimed that US bombing strikes on Iran had set back its nuclear program by decades. On February 24, 2026, Trump boasted in his State of the Union that Iran's nuclear program remained obliterated. One week later, he claimed he had to go to Iran because Iran was just two weeks from building nukes. Has anyone seeing a bigger liar in the White House than Donald Trump? Because I haven't. The Iran War is just as much of a war of lies as the Iraq war was over two decades ago.

That leaves a hard question hanging... If the program was obliterated in June, how was Iran two weeks from a nuclear missile by February?

There are major questions about how Flavio Bolsonaro left Brazil this morning with his family for the US without detection by Brazil.
All morning, Brazilian authorities were utterly confused and clueless. As rumors circulated that Bolsonaro had left Brazil, they had no idea if it was true. At one point, they thought they had located a plane in Argentina, but Bolsonaro wasn't on it. That seems to have been a decoy.
Some Brazilian media outlets are now reporting that the US Govt did not merely agree to allow Bolsonaro to enter, but actively planned, participated in and even executed the exit of Bolsonaro and his family from Brazil to the US: meaning that it was a covert extraction operation by US officials carried out right under the noses of Brazilian intelligence and law-enforcement agencies, who had no idea it was happening.
(Bolsonaro has now arrived in the US, but the secrecy of all this means the US Govt has not publicly spoken on it. Everyone, including me, is working on finding out their version).
There are lots of questions for both governments, some pretty serious implications as well, and ultimately lots of embarrassment for Brazilian officials no matter how it happened (to say nothing of the authoritarian and anti-democratic stench of having Brazil's globally notorious tyrannical judge order the passport seizure of Lula's opponent a mere 7 minutes after Lula was declared the winner).

Let me break down the Flavio Bolsonaro situation and why he is in the United States just hours after the election…
First, they imprisoned his father. They sentenced Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years and placed him under house arrest after he challenged the 2022 results and was accused of plotting to overturn the election.
In this recent election, Bolsonaro was ahead. Lula and his thugs, including his former corruption lawyer, who now sits on Brazil’s Supreme Court, requested a two-hour extension that miraculously produced enough votes for Lula to win. That extension added only about 35,000 votes, roughly 0.03 percent of the total, which is nowhere near enough to explain Lula’s final margin of roughly 4.4 million votes.
Bolsonaro immediately challenged the election because anyone who is not a communist and has a brain could see that the election was stolen from him if they actually paid attention to what was happening. President Trump called the outcome a rigged election and said it looked very bad.
Hours later, they accused him of trying to overturn the election, EXACTLY as they did to his father, and accused him of inciting “violence” in the streets. Then they prohibited him from leaving the country, even though he had committed no crime, and canceled his passport to make sure he could not leave.
Fortunately, Bolsonaro had been working with the United States. They extracted him in an undisclosed operation before the authorities could throw him in prison just like his father.
Meanwhile, while ALL of this is unfolding, Lula’s little tranny lover, Erika Hilton, who is a “Congresswoman,” is publicly calling for the Brazilian government to seize Bolsonaro’s and his wife’s assets and freeze ALL their bank accounts.
DOES THAT SOUND NORMAL TO YOU? A man challenges an election, and suddenly the Brazilian government is coming after him for doing exactly that.
THIS IS COMMUNISM.
So while you see Democrats across our country congratulating Lula on his victory, including Alex Soros, the biggest demon of them all, understand exactly what you are looking at. These are the people cheering on a government that is targeting its political opposition. They are the enemy, and they will attempt the SAME thing against a Republican here in America, just as they did to Trump.
This is EXACTLY why it is essential to vote RED and make absolutely sure our country NEVER becomes what Brazil has become.

FORTRESS AMERICA: THE PENTAGON PREPARES FOR BLACKOUTS. WHAT ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE?
The Pentagon wants major U.S. military bases ready to operate for at least 90 days without outside support. Its FORTRESS plan envisions independent power grids, portable nuclear reactors, stockpiles of fuel and ammunition, and civilian factories ready to produce military supplies. The message is clear: planners can no longer assume the next major war will stay overseas.
That raises urgent questions about civilian preparedness. America’s reliance on foreign-made electrical equipment has fueled concerns about power-grid vulnerabilities. Israeli election exit polls show that Netanyahu's governing bloc received only 50 seats the opposition bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot's receiving 52-53 seats and Arab parties receiving 17-18 seats in the Knesset. If true, then Netanyahu has been soundly defeated and the only hope he has of staying in power is that Eisenkot's right wing party will refuse to invite one of the Arab blocs to join his coalition to form an Israeli majority government. This is the most seats ever won by Israel's Arab parties and it makes them the biggest potential kingmakers in the new Knesset.
In that case there will either have to be a unity government likely with Netanyahu and Eisenkot as alternating Prime Ministers as Israel had several years ago, something which all opposition leaders have ruled out, or new elections either one of which might leave Netanyahu in power for a period of time.
Eisenkot's best option is to swallow his pride and align with the Arab parties, even if he has to form a minority government and rely on the Arab parties to help pass legislation so he can pull Israel out of the Iran War after stating that Netanyahu has been lying in claiming that Iran is close to building nuclear weapons. I think a minority Eisenkot-led government with the outside support of the Arab parties may be the most likely outcome of this election.

Brazilian presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro has reportedly fled Brazil after the presidential election was stolen from him by incumbent President Lula da Silva. Lula has a history of prosecuting and jailing his political opponents having placed former President Jair Bolsonaro under house arrest for 27 years. Flavio Bolsonaro is reportedly en route to Florida to request asylum from President Trump. I have no doubt that he will receive it for demonstrating the courage to stand up to Brazil's undemocratic Marxist leader.

🇧🇷🇺🇸 Flavio Bolsonaro dropped his fight to annul the election minutes after Trump called it "rigged" but gave no sign he'd step in
Trump told reporters the vote “looked so corrupt, so terrible” and that elections “have to be indisputable,” then stopped there.
Flavio, who’d spent the morning calling the extended voting hours a “dirty trick,” came out right after and shrank the challenge to a routine lawsuit over Lula raising welfare payments before the runoff.
The extension was ordered by a justice who used to be Lula’s personal lawyer, and the judge holding Flavio’s passport is the one who jailed his father.
Look at what Lula’s Brazil did to the man who beat him in round one.
The father locked up for 27 years, the brother sentenced for talking to Washington, the candidate’s passport taken the morning after he lost, and the only part of the state that ruled on the election is staffed by the president’s old lawyers.
Flavio didn’t lose an argument, he was told what happens to his family if he keeps making it...
Any conservative in Latin America who thought winning the first round protects you just learned it doesn’t, because Washington is watching from the curb.

Israeli's leading candidate to replace Netanyahu as Prime Minister says Netanyahu has been lying for decades in claiming Iran is weeks away from having nuclear weapons. This suggests to me that if retired IDF General Gadi Eisenkot becomes Israel's next PM, he will take action to wind down the Iran War.
President Trump himself has stated that if Netanyahu loses, he will have no reason to continue his illegal forever war on Iran at the same time he is pulling out all the stops to keep Netanyahu in power as the head of an Israeli unity government. I see no chance of that happening. The best possible result for Netanyahu is if he were able to break off one of the major parties from the opposition coalition and have a rotating PM arrangement like Israel had several years ago.
If polls prove correct in predicting the election results tonight, Eisenkot could oust Netanyahu tomorrow if he agreed to include either one of the Israeli Arab party coalitions in his government.
Brazil's Marxist President Lula da Silva is acting like a Zelensky style tin pot dictator in trying to invent criminal charges to prosecute his defeated opponent after stealing Brazil's presidential election from him on Sunday. It's very sad to see Brazil follow Ukraine's example in transforming from a democratic republic into an authoritarian state.

BREAKING: Trump allies are secretly cutting a deal to keep Benjamin Netanyahu in power even if he loses Tuesday’s election, with the White House exploring a unity government in which Netanyahu would abandon his far-right partners and share power with rival Gadi Eisenkot, per The Washington Post.
Netanyahu has privately promised U.S. and European officials that he would drop Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich if it meant forming a more moderate coalition, and has argued to Washington that he is the best Israeli partner to resume the war against Iran.

Lula’s government is already moving to seize Flávio Bolsonaro’s passport and treat him as a criminal, hours after an election Flávio has not even conceded. This is true madness that the left is treating as normal despite the seizure being clearly tyrannical.
Federal Deputy Duda Salabert of the PSOL party—the Socialism and Liberty Party, a left-wing party further left than Lula’s PT—posted early Monday that she had requested the seizure of Flávio’s passport. She wrote that “the next step for this criminal is to try to flee Brazil to avoid facing the various inquiries in his name. He needs to be arrested soon.” She added that they could not allow him to join his brother in the U.S. Minutes after the race was called she had also posted “We won! Now it’s prison for Flavio Bolsonaro!”
Flávio is rightly contesting the election result over the two-hour voting extension ordered by Justice Cristiano Zanin, Lula’s former personal lawyer, after polls had already closed in many places. Brazil’s own Superior Electoral Court president, Kassio Nunes Marques, said Sunday there was no rule authorizing that extension and that “never, in the history of the TSE, has there been any extension.”
What we’re seeing in Brazil now is the left’s playbook when it holds institutional power. Change the rules mid-count, label the opponent a criminal, and move to restrict his movement before the challenge is even heard. Democrats and leftists abroad are already praising Lula’s win and his government despite their blatantly illegal acts and abuses of power since Sunday voting began in Brazil. Recognize who you’re dealing with. The same leftists who call voter ID racist and treat extended hours as ordinary administration treat any conservative who questions the result as a threat that needs to be neutralized. Sunday in Brazil was the latest example of the real tyranny from a left that’s now controlled by socialists.

Amazing the NYT is willing to admit this in print. The Brazil results are not legitimate and should be annulled after the TSE voted not to extend but Lula's lawyer who sits on the court extended them anyway.

🇧🇷 Brazil’s election ended with Lula winning by 4.4 million votes... and half the country asking HOW?!?!
Going into yesterday, Flávio Bolsonaro was the CLEAR betting favorite at around 80% on Polymarket.
Then, minutes after polls were supposed to close, a Supreme Court justice stepped in and extended voting nationwide by 2 hours, without waiting for the electoral court to rule.
That justice, Cristiano Zanin, used to be Lula’s PERSONAL DEFENSE LAWYER in the Car Wash corruption case, and Lula appointed him to the court. (Which might explain that look of pure devotion in the photo.)
Both campaigns had asked for more time, but the order caused chaos.
Stations that had already closed had to stay shut, machines in parts of Rio couldn’t be restarted, and the vote count was frozen.
When counting resumed, Flávio briefly LED. But the betting markets flipped to Lula about an hour before the official count did.
Bolsonaro is refusing to concede and wants the entire runoff annulled, calling the extension an illegal rule change by a judge tied to his opponent.
When Lula’s former lawyer rewrites the rules mid-vote, the least Brazil deserves is a full investigation.
If it’s all clean, what’s there to fear?
