Confusion after @elonmusk says Ukraine violated “terms of service” with Starlink so SpaceX closed a “loophole,” but then adds only USG controls Starshield.
So:
- If Starlink was the issue, then why was Starshield throttled?
- If Starlink loophole closed, why are speeds back?

Nidal Hasan has been on death row since 2013, waiting on a US president to approve his execution for killing 13 people
That happened Oct 2 when Trump gave the green light to execute Hasan, who is paralyzed, by firing squad
Hegseth wants to livestream it
wsj.com/politics/national-se…
GOP pushback on the Pentagon livestreaming of an execution is starting to echo McCain's 2014 dissent on the US torture of terror suspects:
'This question isn’t about our enemies. It’s about us. It’s about who we were, who we are and who we aspire to be'
wsj.com/politics/national-se…
Secretary Hegseth should seriously reconsider this decision.
Nidal Hasan is an evil person. He betrayed our country, killed 13 American soldiers, and wounded dozens more at Fort Hood — a place I trained the year before his brutal attack.
That does not change the fact that our American values should strive to elevate human dignity. Making a public spectacle out of an already tragic situation is unnecessary and does not serve a public interest.

The Pentagon said it plans to livestream the firing squad execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, a former soldier who admitted to killing 13 people in the 2009 shooting at Fort Hood Army base in Texas.
Hasan’s execution would be the first by the U.S. military in more than 65 years. A servicemember hasn’t been executed by firing squad since 1945. wsj.com/us-news/pentagon-say…
