Ukraine's military Starlink service is working at over 400 km/h again, defense minister Khmara says. Ukrainian drone units tell us they can fly fast again - and hope the the 10-day disruption by Elon Musk's SpaceX is over.
WSJ's story:
Starshield was working at full speed on Saturday morning:

I've been in those trenches every month or two for the last four years.
People are tired, they miss their families, they have their frustrations.
But they are there, still holding the line, with full clarity that if they let go, Russia and its tyranny will come to their homes.

Even though Zelensky stopped hitting Russian refineries and is *unilaterally* abiding by the energy ceasefire while Russia bombs Kyiv power stations, Ukraine’s military communications have been throttled by Musk/Trump, as per Zelensky’s drone advisor. @SpaceX

Presidential advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov confirms Elon Musk's SpaceX is deliberately crippling Ukrainian Starlink terminals:
"I can confirm that tonight SpaceX has implemented a speed limit on Starlink terminals while in motion.
The limit currently applies to the StarShield “military package” and is set at 100 mph.
Our defense forces were not given notice of this limit, and this has resulted in the disruption of a number of missions.
It is clear that this action cannot be a coincidence and is related to the current political situation."

Second day of street protests in Ukraine after Zelensky suddenly fired reformist defense minister Fedorov.
The crowds are much bigger and the chant is “Down with Syrsky.”
It is very hard to motivate people to join the military when the commander in chief, Gen Syrsky, is perceived — rightly or wrongly, but widely — as a Soviet-school general who doesn’t care about casualties, and who has allowed the emergence of pet regiments that reproduce some of the worst Russian army habits, like torture and extrajudicial killings of recruits.

Fedorov was widely credited for Ukraine’s turnaround on the battlefield, and for cutting corruption in the military.
Firing him after just six months, and with no explanation, is a really bad look for Zelensky.

Russia threatened to do this if Ukraine attacked the May 9 parade on the Red Square. After Trump’s intervention on Putin’s behalf, Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire so Russia could hold the parade. Two weeks later, Putin unleashed the ballistic missile barrage on central Kyiv anyway.
Horrific. Morning footage from Kyiv Ukraine after Russia poured ballistic missiles on civilian neighborhoods, targeting apartment buildings, schools, markets, and bomb shelters full of people.

Is Ukraine winning?
It has clawed back the advantage in the drone war - and brought Russia's advance to the slowest pace in over two years.
Russia's war is going badly, on the ground and in the air - but not badly enough yet to force Putin to rethink his war aims. 1/2
