3 years ago today I received my first $BTC I paid $231.97 each for.
Most people were REKT, crypto was “dead”.
I slowly became obsessed with this space and the startups building within it.
Man Im glad I stuck around & I have no doubt you’ll feel the same way in 3 more years🙌

.@jakepaul’s Anti Fund got into Whop early.
Now @whop just raised $200M at a $5.1B valuation, backed by Sequoia and Shopify.
The wildest detail: 35–40% of volume is already international… with about two people on that team.
Where the money goes, per Whop co-founder Cameron Zoub (@czoob3):
1. International
2. Marketing (they’ve spent almost nothing so far)
3. Product + engineering
Jake Paul says Whop is revitalizing the American Dream.
We can’t imagine how it’ll grow moving forward now that marketing will be a primary focus.
Whop has raised $200M in Series D funding at a $5.1B valuation, backed by @sequoia and @shopify.
It really feels like we are barely touching the tip of the iceberg in a market larger than anyone can imagine.
We first launched Whop as a better way for us to sell sneaker bots, one of the most niche types of desktop software out there.
Total TAM? Probably $20,000 per day.
Who cares, tiny market.
But, what people discounted is the idea that there were actually 70,000 other markets exactly like that one.
Beyond the investment itself, I am especially excited to welcome legendary silicon valley investor @dougleone to our board of directors. Doug and the sequoia team are nothing but a brilliant, resourceful, and principled group of people.
My co-founder Cameron and I started building on Shopify when we were 13 years old. Shopify is one of the most impactful all-in-one cloud ecosystems ever created; @tobi has pioneered modern entrepreneurship the way we know it and we are thrilled to have him in our corner.
We have a tenet at Whop to be the dumbest in the room and I am very grateful that this has recently become a lot easier.
We are focused on markets, scale economies, and progressive media. If that is up your alley, please message me directly.
The $200M raised will support our expansion as we build economic infrastructure for the next century, continuing on our mission of delivering everyone an income.
4 years ago, I met Cameron & Steven on Discord.
They convinced me to wind down my agency, move from Sydney to New York & go all in on Whop.
At the time, I didn’t think there were many people like me. I didn’t finish college. I hated the idea of a “job.” Instead, I wanted to be an entrepreneur, control my own destiny & enjoy life on my own terms.
Meeting Cameron & Steven made me realize not only that more people like me existed, but also that my life’s work would be to build a platform that makes building for yourself, on your own terms, just a little bit easier.
The world would be a better place if all 8.3 billion of us had our own businesses.
See you on the other side.

Our mission is to deliver everyone a sustainable income.
We will not stop until there are billions of people earning on Whop.
Shoutout to everyone who has made this possible, from the earliest sneaker botters to the tens of thousands of entrepreneurs building on Whop today 🫡

Today, Whop is introducing Economic Intelligence, a decision making system built from business actions on platform.
Billions of people should have the ability to build profitable businesses.
Economic Intelligence answers "what next?" for businesses at all levels.
People forget that the majority of universities loading broke jobless teenagers with debt are PUBLIC schools exempt from paying taxes and funded by tax payers
Why is there a “tuition” to begin with?
Definition of scam.
Just popping in to say $BONK hasn’t moved relative to others especially $USELESS and the main character is literally my bro “bonkguy” so do with this information what you will
