Un-triaging TN-05 only makes sense if national Dems believe that undecided voters are breaking late towards Democrats (overriding the voters’ partisanship) or are staying home. And if the bottom is falling out, how it falls out and where it falls out matter a ton

Lots of people are asking me where to give their money - if you can only do one race, I’d give what you can to @MaryPeltola
Several reasons:
1) It’s a small state, so your money goes further per expected senate vote
2) Direct donations buy 19x ads per dollar than committees due to the unit rule - this also frees up the DSCC and SMP to put their money on states with smaller IE/coord ad price spreads and frees them up to spend more on digital
3) it’s likely going to be close!
It’s not too late! Any money you send today will get spent immediately and will provide real relief to an overworked campaign workers across a bunch of orgs!

Regarding Russian conscripts, this is not the case. The overwhelming percentage of Russian forces fighting in this war are men well over 30 who accepted service contracts for money. They were not conscripted, or mobilized. For more on this topic: warontherocks.com/a-return-t…

The endless slaughter of Ukrainian and Russians must stop.
We should some sympathy for the poor Russian conscripts too. Those kids have no choice but to fight and die in drone strikes.

Serbia 🇷🇸 BREAKING: Aleksandar Vucic admits defeat to the Student List in the parliamentary elections!!!
This point about local elections brings me back to a point I’ve made a few times: the Democratic Party (or related org) should stand up a party committee or PAC dedicated to funding Democrats for special/off-year elections
Size of the 'blue wave' isn't just about how far Dems get in US House.
Hundreds of local offices could flip if Dems have a great night—AGs, county governments, utility commissions, school boards.

I don’t think it’s discussed enough how much the modern Texas GOP (and really the national GOP) is a child of the 1980s California Republican Party. In Texas, it’s even more interesting because that shift is the direct result of the modern mass migration to the state in the 80s

As most all the politicians here bash California, I just noticed this big California pendant has been in the background the whole time.
