Social media is such a two edged sword. Particularly for religious grifters. It helps you build your kingdom and fill your coffers, but you can't keep your misdeeds siloed and you can no longer control the narratives effectively. Notice how the ones caught in darkness use social media constantly, but tell their flock face to face to stay off of it?

If it is bad to be motivated by clicks and views (so goes the accusation) to expose evil, how much worse is it to be motivated by clicks and views (and money) to lie in God's name, scam innocent saints, teach doctrines of demons, and defend sexual predators?

People who love power will always side with predators.
People who love power cannot love the abused.
People who chase power will never leave the 99 for the 1.
Predators isolate the 1 from the 99.
They count on you loving power more than the abused. They teach you to.
Jesus rebukes greed and self indulgence, we make excuses and try to cherry pick bible passage to explain why its okay.
Getting rich and living lavish lifestyles off the backs of people just trying to connect with God is far more blasphemous than any doctrinal error.
I tend to only believe a person has been restored to ministry from being a sexual abuser when they are walking around with one eye and one hand.
I’m to the point where I don’t think a single mainline charismatic church actually serves the Christ of scripture. Happy to be proven wrong, but man if your light is darkness how great is that darkness.
If your Jesus gives a pass to unrighteousness or injustice because of the beliefs or status of the perpetrator or victim you are not worshipping the Biblical Jesus. God is light and there is no darkness found in Him. Christ cannot be a hypocrite, it is incompatible with His very nature.
