"Marie Stopes is evolving to meet your needs. Yesterday, your condom needs were different. Today, your needs include pleasure, and we are truly honored to stand here, in these dynamic times, to launch a condom that reflects that." ~ Dr @CSekimpi, Senior Africa Director, @MSIchoices #TurnUpTheHeat #FLAMERevolution

It’s always a pleasure to lead the @MarieStopesUg Executive team. Today, shared a few things we admire about one another—heartwarming! We reaffirmed a truth we already know: our individual achievements are shaped by the strength each member brings to our team.

Today, I had a delightful walk with @CSekimpi. The weather was just perfect - not too hot and not too cold, with a gentle drizzle adding to the pleasant atmosphere. It was the ideal setting for a leisurely Sunday morning walk that lasted nearly two hours, during which we had a wonderful, wide-ranging conversation that covered all sorts of topics. During our walk, we passed by trees abundant with fruit - guava, jackfruit, and avocado. This prompted us to reflect on the blessings of abundance, fresh food, sustenance, and the transformative power of seeds when nurtured. We took a moment to express gratitude for provision. Our conversation also touched on the experience of raising teenagers and young adults. We discussed the importance of active listening, staying open and connected with our children, and trusting in the lessons they will learn as they navigate life. We spoke about and emphasized our responsibility to support and uplift other women through various means, such as employment, mentorship, advocacy, and standing up for one another. Whenever and wherever we can we should help another woman thrive. As we continued our walk, we noticed the houses and neighborhoods around us, leading to a conversation about the challenges and opportunities presented by the population growth in Uganda. We deliberated on the significance of investing in education, particularly for girls, and the ongoing work needed to ensure reproductive health rights and choices are equitable for all. As leaders in our respective roles, we also emphasized the critical importance of having a supportive team to help us think, build, and create effectively. We also delved into the significance of prioritizing our wellbeing, finding the right balance between work and rest, and learning to manage stress by letting go of unnecessary pressures. Ultimately, our discussion led us to acknowledge that life is meant to be lived to the fullest, and we aspire to do so with grace and intention. Here's to living well.

Our allegiance to providing high-quality health services to women is firm, as demonstrated by our Senior Country Director @CSekimpi, who conducts quality assurance visits within our clinics in Jinja and Tororo. In the company of Dr. Milton Awudo, the Director of Technical Services, our team at the Tororo Clinic was reminded to always follow the highest clinical guidelines and meet their targets. This commitment was sealed with a pinky swear 🤝
