this HERO made a dashboard!
this is how we get some citizen led transparency
trackingourcash.github.io/YY…
Thanks @old_man_AB
SOOOO after blowing 2 million on Water Panel and hammering us with 74% water hike yesterday administration informed everyone this morning GREENLIGHT ON CHRISTMAS PARTIES!!
literally the next day
no shame
@KybrdWrrr
oh yes, who remembers this?
it's hard to keep track of all these 'shenanigans'
Replying to @CalgaryRecall
That's because it sat on Duckworth's desk in August and he and COO Dalgleish provided edits to it. There were several rounds of edits.
she fought to CLOSE a pool serving disabled people and seniors, does it more cruella deville than that?
@Ortman4Ward9
apparently this was John Pantazopolos' campaign manager?
ward 6 votes are starting to make more sense
after 'nenshi-spendshi' would calgarians vote for a stealth-NDPer for mayor?
GREAT
they promoted pool lady, who cant even keep pools open & functioning to WATER SERVICES?
no accountability no reprimands
just promotions
look at all these last moment promotions before duck is gone
promoting everyone before he bails?
(all new contracts that cant be broken)
Replying to @CalgaryRecall
Bad news: Look who got promoted … remember her work on GamePLAN that will bankrupt Calgary?
no accountability
no reprimands
just promotions, gold plated retirements & exit packages
with a taxpayer funded blank cheque and 74% rate hike
6.4 billion
3 Billion still missing, no explantion
Replying to @djkelly @nunyobiddness
I appreciate that you are responding to people here but same answer and question to you Mr Kelly. Someone from city admin proposed the compensation, it didn’t come out of thin air. Who is responsible and accountable for that?
DJ having a hard day on the X, we almost feel bad about it but the stakes are too high to pussyfoot with people trusted to keep us safe & functioning
also he's paid, he pursued this job for years so he should be better informed and not attempt to redirect us who pay his salary
Replying to @JenniferWyness
@JenniferWyness let's set the record straight for Calgarians and @DanWilliamsAB & @ABDanielleSmith
did council specifically approve the rates that the chair was paid or was that negotiated by someone in senior administration?
again and again and again
no one holds the actual people responsible
Admin
why wont council hold admin accountable?
it's crazy
councilors literally lose their jobs over this stuff but admin laughs and carries on term after term even gettting promoted
Replying to @CalgaryRecall
Is it just me or are all of them just passing the buck and blaming their predecessors? Even Farkas.
there's no way @JenniferWyness fought to release the outrageous pay if council was to blame for the millions to one man
@djkelly you need to correct the record and apologize to colleagues current and former
@RajDhaliwal_YYC @chabot4ward10 @DanWMcLean
wrong answer again
Farkas, Kelly & their gold-plated 8
Kelly should know or is being insincere again; council would not have known the specific pay/wage agreements that would have been negotiated by CAO Duckworth or more likely Stuart Dalgleish
1.75 million $1752/hr was ADMIN
Replying to @nunyobiddness
I agree it is a ridiculous sum. The report is very helpful, but I'm not sure the ROI was there when compared with the cost. You'd have to ask the former council members who approved the budget if this was what they envisioned.
Replying to @JeromyYYC
Farkus was on city council when they should have been maintaining the infrastructure.
wasnt exactly a mind-blowing report worth 2 million, was it?
it led to a 6.5 billion dollar boner
and
74% water hike
plus more garbage to follow
bonus: the 3.6 Billion is still missing with zero answers
Replying to @floragillespie
There's no goddamn way a 66 year old man worked 45 hours a week, every week, for a solid 9 months.
This alone should result in clawback and lawsuit repayment of the fraudulent billing / time theft on behalf of Calgary taxpayers.
#yyccc
Replying to @CalgaryRecall @djkelly
That’s the crux of it we paid billions under the guise of « maintenance fees » and it was spent on bike lanes, public art, mental health supports, land to give away & a myriad of other wants over needs. #yyccc & admin misled us for years. Now we are paying through nose for it
like we said
utterly gobsmacked

Replying to @JeromyYYC
When will the other recommendations from the panel be implemented? The culture of hiding issues from council continues, decisions continue by consensus, and nepotism continues in exempt roles. Nothing has changed, but we have an expensive report, don't we.
