i feel like every day we really do get closer to just talking in Cyberpunk 2077 streetslang. like there's not a massive world of difference between a chromed-out gonk getting zeroed and a chudded moid getting kirked
The best thing for injury prevention in running is weight training, but wiggling your arms and legs around for a few minutes before a run is easier than getting into lifting so people do that instead. 🤣
I genuinely cannot remember the last time I stretched before or after a run.
And yet stretching is somehow still one of the first things people recommend whenever someone gets hurt running.
I’m not against stretching. I just think we’ve massively overstated how important it is for injury prevention.

I'm TIRED I'm exhausted of substack women what the fuck do you mean " film is kink, body is fetish " ?????
Yup. Hunger also doesn’t stabilize to the new weight immediately.
Your body remembers being fat.
It kind of sucks that one of the best ways to manage weight is just not getting fat in the first place.

Pre-Ozempic, there were many theories: fat people weren't really hungry--it was our obesogenic environmemt, ultra-processed food, sedentariness, emotional problems. Post-Ozempic, we know: most were just really hungry. Reduce their hunger & they lose weight.
Diet studies often find that ~80% of weight comes back within 5 years. If calorie math is so simple (calories in minus calories out), why do diets so rarely succeed long-term? Dr. Katharine Saunders explains in our latest Clearer Thinking podcast episode: podcast.clearerthinking.org/…

I specialize in BPD and love working with these clients. But I sometimes get a call from a guy who wants to “understand” the actions of a wife or girlfriend who “has BPD.” They then go on to describe a psychologically normal woman who no longer wants to have sex with them.
I would ignore 99% of the discourse on borderline personality disorder on here. Sorry, I actually have it and most of this stuff is straight up nonsense written by unqualified people. People are fascinated by BPD. It gets clicks. It's alluring. The "woman with BPD" has extended far beyond the actual diagnosis. It's like the modern day siren, or witch. It's an attempt to mythologize what's a pathological condition.
I've met plenty of people who are terrible. That doesn't mean they have a cluster B personality disorder. You can just be shitty without it being a mental illness.

As somebody who’s actually been in relationships with men who have the money to maintain their lives as is and mine too, none of them ever wanted me to not work. Only time I hear that rhetoric is from ppl who have no business considering that shit.
