Corporations looking for more temporary foriegn workers can afford to hire lobbyists to advocate on their behalf at Parliamentary Committees. Unemployed youth can't. Glad to see Conservatives like @grantjacksonMP fight on their behalf. ⬇️
Powerful lobbyists are asking the Liberals for more temporary foreign workers while Canada faces the lowest labour force participation in a generation. And the Liberals are doing their bidding. Enough. It's time for the Liberals to put Canadian workers first.

The notion of ‘equity seeking groups’ is insulting to those members of the said groups who can beat any competition on any day on merit, rather than by ‘seeking equity’. The notion is actually condescending white saviourism, and is as odious as sneering white supremacism.

I’m now convinced our kids are being intentionally setup to fail by our education system American parent has her child show the new way they are being taught to do math This is the most insane thing you’ll ever see. You just need to see this for yourself…. Apparently this is called TouchMath and instead of doing math, you just count dots on letters No Math is being done here

Meet Leroy. A specially trained Search and Rescue dog in Banff. He tracked 156 individuals, found 57 people lost in the wilderness, trekked 22 kilometers for nine straight grueling hours to rescue a 73-year-old woman missing in a snowstorm, located avalanche victims and recovered countless bodies, bringing closure to grieving families. Parks Canada has served notice that the SAR dog program is ending. Banff is already under the microscope for Emergency Preparedness. But this? Thank the Liberals $145 MILLION cut to funding. Carnage's cost saving measures WILL COST LIVES.

I have put together every single screenshot I could find from the PMO documents where Carney has said “In a dangerous and divided world” Every yellow highlight you see is him saying or using that line. Out of 123 press releases, statements, videos & speeches he said it 146 times! This is a high res jpeg, so you can zoom in and see each one. I’d say him using that line on Canadians has gone too far.

Sprawl is the excuse incompetent politicians and administration use when they don't want to admit they fucked up. You put a pipe in the ground, you pay for it, you figure out how much it will cost to maintain that pipe and eventually replace it, and you charge for water accordingly. Instead, the money was dropped into General Revenues with zero future planning. They just keep telling us, that if we grow up instead of out, that taxes will get cheaper and services will get better! But every single year, taxes go up, spending goes up, head count goes up, and services are nonexistent. That's exactly why I didn't support Farkas this go-around. He has zero plan, zero ability to lead council and no relevant skills to effectively manage the CAO. Since he got elected, he's pretty much done whatever Admin has told him to do and he's spent more time screaming about the UCP than he has about his own incompetent CAO and administration. He's too busy picking fights with the members of council who have actually had real jobs and accomplished something.

Thousands of (mostly American) replies, so a quick follow-up. DEI in Canada doesn't mean hiring unqualified people. Quotas are banned under the Employment Equity Act, and every hire must meet the job's qualifications. 🧵….

"Just in case you didnt know, Parliament held standing committee meetings this week on Bill C223, and reforming the divorce act, parental alienation etc. Presenters nationwide battled a lunatic feminist organization who actually asked the government to remove judge's discretion and ban the term parental alienation. As we all know, lawyers have infiltrated all feminist organizations and are using them to try to profit from pushing insane laws into Canada that pretend to protect women, but are actually made to target them. I presented at the Manitoba legislature 2 weeks ago on this and in 2025. 2 conservative MPs have asked for my report which was developped with the words and recommendations of victims, the police, our judges, the crown prosecutor, alienated children, men, women and grandparents, and from parental alienation and divorce groups nationwide, after years of hearing their recommendations. The report I provided them gives recommendations to end this nonsense and puts these lobbyists in their place, and shows how lawyers have infiltrated the feminist lobbyists and are creating chaos for everyone. It also shows the track record of the laws they already installed over the last 8 years which is targeting men, women and kids. Heres hoping they read it. This week is very important for the future of marriage, divorce, and normalcy and fairness for everyone after a decade of the liberals installing laws that steal from people and lead to violence and retaliation. Enough is enough." Cory Michael

Each time you hear Carney say “In a more dangerous and divided world,” know that it’s an age-old fear mongering tactic so that you don’t question when he: 1) introduces new laws to limit more of your freedoms 2) spends more of your tax money on government bureaucracies 3) spends more of your tax money outside Canada It’s that simple folks. Hopefully you recognize the pattern next time he does it.

It’s insane to me that the CoC utility dividend ISN’T put into back into utility infrastructure. As CoC is the utilities only shareholder, Calgarians have been way overcharged to create another revenue stream for the City, and CoC has wasted the money. Whose decision was this?
I had to Vote No to the Huge Utility Bill increase because I agree with the Chamber of Commerce that it would SEVERELY impact Calgary Residents and Businesses. I believe we could’ve looked at alternatives like: -Pause the hike until we see if we get some infrastructure support from the Province or Federal government in upcoming budgets. -Stretch out the spending and cost recovery over a longer period of time. -Reduce or Pause some of the Huge projected infrastructure dollars for the Prairie Economic Gateway project -Take the Cities utility dividend and put it into water pipes instead of General Revenue -Sell some Cities assets which are Enormous Sadly the utility hikes passed Council today by a vote of 9 to 6 so now more than ever Council must look at ways to reduce the proposed double digit Property Tax Increase.

Not so fast. Section 10.1 of the Alberta Human Rights Act allows for preferential hiring based on race, etc. Bill 33 does not repeal Section 10.1. Instead, the Bill adds a bunch of weasily prohibitions and exceptions for provincial bodies. If they meant it, they could just repeal section 10.1. And they should have invoked the Notwithstanding Clause (section 33) of the Charter. They haven't, so provincial bodies in Alberta will still be subject to section 15(1) and (2) of the Charter, which allow (and sometimes may require) reverse discrimination.
‼️NUKES FIRED!! --- Alberta just tabled Bill 33 and it NUKES DEI and wokism across the public sector. The Justice Statutes Amendment Act, 2026 (No. 2) bans preferential hiring and promotion based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other “personal characteristics” in government agencies, schools, universities, municipalities, and Crown entities. Banned outright: Ameliorative (DEI) hiring and promotion programs Mandatory training on DEI, unconscious bias, or cultural competency Any required training that dictates political, historical, or social opinions or pushes identity-based moral superiority and preferential treatment Merit is back. Ideological loyalty tests are out. This is the most BASED law of 2026!

The best person for the job should get the job. Period. Today we tabled legislation that would ensure hiring and promotion decisions in the public sector are based on merit, not DEI policies. Mandatory workplace training will be relevant to the roles and responsibilities of the employee, instead of mandatory DEI sessions. Every Albertan deserves a fair shot, and fairness means everyone competes on the same terms.

Carney, the former Governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, serves as the Chair of Brookfield Asset Management. He has simultaneously been a central driving force behind the creation and diplomatic lobbying for the DSRB. Defence Security and Resiliance Bank a new, Canada-led multinational financial institution designed to provide financing for allied military, security, and resilience projects. The DSRB is designed to act as a multinational "war bank" that leverages public backing to unlock massive amounts of private institutional capital. As one of the world's largest alternative asset managers, major financial players like Brookfield are structurally aligned with the bank's core mission to funnel private infrastructure and credit investments into allied defense supply chains. Why are Canadian taxpayers buying Carney and Brookfield a bank?

Mayor Farkas voted for these water rate increases. How many Calgary households and businesses can afford 14–20% annual increases for water - an essential service, @ABDanielleSmith? Council approved the proposal by an 8–2 vote.

COUNCIL VOTES TO INCREASE WATER BILLS BY 74% I voted against Council’s proposed water rate hike. Our water system needs work, but 74% in four years is too much, too fast for families already facing a potential MASSIVE property tax increase. It passed 9-6. I’ll keep pushing for affordability in November. #calgary #yyc #yyccc #yycpoli
