🚨 $ASTS is under an $80 Mn DARPA program for space radar 99% completed and STR is prime🚨
This STA has some deep implications.
Join me for a deep dive in the 🐇rabbit 🕳️ hole.
AST extends their ongoing radar testing.
It’s explicitly referenced as STR prime contract FA…0018. (Exhibit 1)
If you followed me closely I have pointed to BlueWalker3 as plausible platform of the Wildcard SDR payload. Part of DARPA Blackjack program. Due to among other things timing of glitches.
They were both bumped 3 times in sync.
But then all traces stopped of that software defined payload that was to do 5G TACSATCOM around the time AST started doing 5G MUOS augmentation a TACSATCOM system…
Guess who was a contractor for DARPA Blackjack? Not the comms part but for radar?
You guessed it STR!
Guess again the taggs used in contract FA…0018.

I was thinking What happens if @SpaceX takes just 10% of the US wireless market from Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile?
Roughly $20 BILLION in annual revenue lost from 30M departing customers.
Another $15 BILLION lost if SpaceX forces just a $5 monthly price reduction across the remaining 250M connections.
That's nearly $35 BILLION in annual revenue and $23 BILLION in EBITDA at risk.
At an 8x multiple, that's potentially $180 BILLION in enterprise value under threat.
And here's what I think MNOs seem to now understand and why they will push back on helping SpaceX with an MVNO deal because SpaceX doesn't need to win the wireless market to destroy its economics.
The real threat isn't the 10% of customers they lose. It's what happens to the pricing power of the other 90%.😀
Today our team lifted and installed New Glenn's second stage (GS2) at @NASAStennis. The vehicle was tandem lifted from its cradle using the Main Derrick Crane at the historic B-2 Test Stand to lift the forward end, while a mobile tailing crane simultaneously lifted the aft end. GS2 was shifted to a vertical orientation, lifted 218 feet above ground, and lowered into the B-2 test position. A great example of what Team Blue and our NASA partners can accomplish together. Final preparations for our first hotfire test are ongoing.

Yesterday, President Trump was in Texas highlighting the economic success his policies have delivered.
We're proud to be part of that momentum.
T1 is building G2_Austin, an advanced photovoltaic manufacturing facility in Texas, with an estimated 2.1 GW Phase 1 capital expenditure in excess of $500 million. G2_Austin is expected to create an estimated 1,500 high-paying advanced manufacturing jobs with a $120 million payroll in Milam County, Texas, while helping to reshore a critical industry.
This investment would not have been possible without the leadership of President Trump and his administration.
We are investing big in America, because it is the greatest country in the world. 🇺🇸

Looks like my research was right.
Viasat $VSAT just surged nearly 12% in a matter of minutes, with no clear catalyst confirmed yet.
Given the recent speculation around a potential SpaceX $SPCX acquisition, I wouldn't be surprised if something is developing behind the scenes, but nothing has been confirmed.
Viasat $VSAT is being viewed as a potential buyout target for Elon Musk’s SpaceX $SPCX, with Paradigm reportedly seeing high potential for a deal.
Speculation comes as SpaceX continues acquiring valuable wireless spectrum to expand Starlink’s satellite-to-phone services. No acquisition has been confirmed.

The level of doomer-maxxing I'm seeing is wild. Price defines value. The price is in the gutter. People are losing their heads. Have we been here before?
It's wild how many times at the peak of uncertainty when shorts actually appear to have known bad things that we did not know (hats off to the shorts of picking off information that almost certainty the Company did not share with you!)...they got absolutely colonoscopy-ed despite...having been "right." $ASTS
