This reads as "lol, it turns out TPUSA is a lot less effective when you assassinate its charismatic leader"
Which is certainly not what Jonah meant, but it is what the left celebrates every time they make fun of Kirk's death.

Q: “Should republicans look to you as some kind of savior going forward?”
A: “There’s no saviors in politics. Elected officials are supposed to be servants.”

The craziest result to me is Maine booting out arguably the most powerful woman in the senate for a random guy who was wandering by when Graham Platner imploded…

Kevin Kiley says he’s already called Richard Pam to congratulate him as the newly elected representative of CA’s 6th Congressional District.
Kiley says he’s here to help Pan, and told him so. @CBSSacramento

You guys couldn’t even get Susan Collins—the most vanilla moderate Republican senator there is—across the finish line against a literal cousin fucker. Resign from leadership.
Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.

Assuming Republicans lose the seats where prediction markets have the Democrats at 90+% to win, that would produce 55 Democrat Senate seats.
Chance of confirming a worthy successor to Justice Thomas and/or Alito during President Trump’s term: Zero.
Chance of confirming a worthy successor during a hypothetical GOP admin 2029-2033: probably zero (GOP won’t be able to recapture enough seats in 28).

These results remind me of the way grown children will look back on their childhoods and totally forget how their parents fed them, clothed them, educated them, hugged them, supported them, protected them, cheered for them, funded their college tuition but you're mad about the time Dad got really mad at you and took your car keys and grounded you and you couldn't go on the ski trip

"Jack Mehoff? Anybody?"
Yesterday the NYT published a list of what was alleged to be over 500 Michigan “Jewish leaders” supporting El-Sayed. The point of doing so was to paint a narrative that he has strong Jewish support in MI.
But did the NYT do any vetting to the list?
A quick skim and you notice it includes names like “Jack Mehoff”. I happen to know that one of the names is someone deceased. A majority of the signatories don’t even use their full names, just a last initial, so it’s impossible to confirm these are even real people or Jewish.
Why would they publish a story about a completely unreliable list with random names on a google sheet? Because the point was the narrative.

Remember when Republicans push back on this, they're the ones causing a culture war where there is none.

Why?
“Well because they are going to find out about it on the internet anyway”
Completely unacceptable.
