"At the time of the Arian controversy, Arianism or in its more moderate form semi-arianism... had a more a more substantially established claim to orthodoxy than what became the Nicean settlement"

If your thoughts are just things happening, like rain falling or a tree growing. Rain isn't "true" or "false", it just is.
If your thoughts are just brain-rain, then you can't say your thoughts are "true," which means you can't actually know anything at all.

That's a popular theory but nothing in the context entails this.
Matt 24:33-36 shows the distinction between the disciples who have to discern the signs, and the Father who knows by default.
Jesus and the angels do not know. And in fact, Jesus is told the hour in Revelation.

Even the Bible says God is hidden.
"Truly you are a God who conceals himself" Isaiah 45:15
"Have I not kept silent and withdrawn?"
Isaiah 57:11
"the true God left him alone to put him to the test"
2 Chron 32:31
Imagine you are looking at a cloud in the sky. For a second, it looks exactly like a giant dragon. You point at it and say, "Look, a dragon!" But as you watch, the wind blows, and the dragon’s tail turns into a wing, and then its head turns into a big puffy marshmallow...

Evolutionary theory forces biology into a state of nominalism because it denies the existence of static, objective, universal categories. If all life is in a state of constant, unguided flux, then names like "human" or "lion" are arbitrary labels for temporary iterations...

The Incarnation: Four Views! It's finally out. A few years of hard work, and a healthy dose of sarcasm, have helped this debate see the light of day. I will be doing a few book giveaways in the future so stay tuned.
It works. No solid rebuttal
- Eternal generation (no, it's illogical and unbiblical)
- It's a matter of substance (No, existence isn't a substantial predication)
- It's a matter of order/rank (No, necessary > essential > no homoousia)
Trinity got an upgrade 😅

“Gnashing on teeth” wasn’t understood to be a state of pain. In fact, it is a OT Jewish idiom that suggest rather a state of contempt, anger, or aggressiveness.
To understand what Christ taught, one must place himself in the position of those who were hearing the good news atm

θεὸς. Predicate nominative. Fronted for emphasis. According to Colwell’s rule, “[d] efinite predicate nouns which precede the verb usually lack the article” Consequently, a predicate nominative which precedes the verb cannot be translated as an indefinite.
>Grandmother wants to care for baby
>She has cancer so she can't care for the baby at the time
>Asks the baby be fostered until she is healthy enough
>Baby is instead given away to be raped to death by gays
:/
⚠️⚠️ GUILTY ⚠️⚠️
Teacher, Jamie Varley, 37 has been FOUND GUILTY of sexually abusing and murdering 13-month-old baby Preston Davy in a campaign of horrifying abuse over 16 weeks.
His partner John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was found guilty of sexual assault, child cruelty and allowing the death of a child.
A port-mortem showed Preston had suffered 40 injuries - with three hospital emergency visits in the 4 months he'd been placed in their care in the process of adoption.
NO SENTENCE WILL BE LONG ENOUGH FOR THESE DESPICABLE DEPRAVED MEN.
Poor, poor baby Preston - left with absolute monsters
Peace and Security? Interesting wording.

The human brain contains ~86 billion neurons that generate electrical signals that travel through over 100 trillion synaptic connections.
How can anyone see something like this and think it all happened by accident?
