Out on the ground in Portadown this evening, continuing to stand with and support Garvaghy Road residents 🥰 We remain committed to protecting the peace we have worked so hard to build and ensuring that everyone can live free from sectarianism, intimidation and fear. 💚

Tonight, at an event attended by hundreds of Republicans, Sinn Féin selected Paul Maskey, Pat Sheehan, Órlaithí Flynn, and Danny Baker as Sinn Féin’s four West Belfast candidates in the next Assembly election. This election is the most important in generations. It is an opportunity to support the strong leadership of Sinn Féin and show that change in the North is unstoppable. To send a message to those who want to drag us back to the past, that there will be No Going Back. Every vote will count in West Belfast. Together, let’s make it 4 Sinn Féin MLAs!

Next May, for the first time ever, Sinn Féin can win two Assembly seats in South Belfast and Mid Down. Pat Cullen and Deirdre Hargey are two outstanding candidates for Sinn Féin, and a formidable team. Let’s make it two Sinn Féin MLAs in South Belfast and Mid Down!

I have received a letter from the PSNI relating to the peaceful protest on the Garvaghy Road and I will attend an interview in the period ahead. Sinn Féin stood in solidarity with the residents of the Garvaghy Road to protect 28 years of peace. Standing up for what is right is always the right thing to do. Sinn Féin will continue to stand with the Garvaghy Road residents who should be allowed to live their lives free from sectarian intimidation, and with the people of the lower Ormeau road, who are also facing the threat of an unwanted march through their community. There is no going back. Not now. Not ever.

Through an accident of birth, Micheál Martin enjoys the freedom won by generations across Ireland Yet for decades, he has told citizens in one corner that his freedom is not for them History will judge him harshly
If the approach to the failed talks to resolve Drumcree had been followed by those who negotiated the Good Friday Agreement, “nothing” would have been agreed, the Taoiseach has said. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/…

Like many millions of people around the world, Sally and “a lot of people in Ireland” are appalled at the crimes of the apartheid Israeli state In no way does that amount to an “anti-Jewish stance” as Boulton says here His words however undoubtedly amount to defamation
Boulton "she, in common with a lot of people in Ireland is taking a very strong pro Palestine & I have to say anti Israel & anti Jewish stance" Adam, can you provide evidence that Sally Rooney is taking an anti Jewish stance? Or are you in fact lying to smear critics of Israel?

I Condemn the Pipe Bomb Attack in Stanhope Street Area This is as a reckless and dangerous act that has left the local community in shock. “This attack must be unequivocally condemned, and those responsible must stop immediately. “Thankfully, no one has been injured.

Political unionism talking of violence, the only violence I see is that perpetrated on Nationalist community here on the Lower Ormeau Road where a memorial showing the faces of the five members of the community who were murdered here has been defaced, traumatising their families

There can be no unwanted loyal order march down the lower Ormeau Road. The Parades Commission must make the right decision & maintain the existing restriction on this march. Sinn Féin will continue to fully support the lower Ormeau community.

The party of the Orange state still struggling with the concept of ‘one person, one vote’ Michelle is First Minister because the electorate put her there The only “stitch-up” was Jeffrey Donaldson flip-flopping back to London and gifting the Deputy FM role to the unelected ELP
