Since Vivek is in the news again, I am forced to re-up my investigation into his tennis claims. TLDR, the only source for him being a nationally ranked player is him, and the press just repeats it without looking into it. Also, I'm aware that no one cares about this but me
K, I've watched several videos of @VivekGRamaswamy playing tennis. He's for sure decent. I, however, do not believe for a minute that he was a "nationally ranked junior" as so many stories state. I can't even find an Ohio ranking, although he looks good enough to make it here.
