4 am, the thought of @Zagabond dropping Hilumia in a X space popped into my mind, clicked on the link, and it just takes me back to the @Azuki homepage.
What feels like yesterday, is a vision that seems long long lost.
Thread🧵
Welcome to Hilumia 🌱
The crossroads of the Garden. A growing city shaped and built by the community. The past, present, and future of Azuki.

From short-term liquidity to long-term growth.
KAIO is building the Onchain Yield Curve, bringing cash, credit, private markets, and beyond, onchain.
Institutional strategies across different risk profiles and time horizons. More ways to put capital to work.
.@base, built by @coinbase, holds $360 million and 92,215 holders. @multiplifi, @FTDA_US, @MidasRWA, @centrifuge and @KAIO_xyz lead.
It stops being about not wanting to do things the Web3 way like BAYC is currently doing because Azuki wants to go mainstream, they had to because the Web3 liquidity and willingness to invest simply weren't there anymore.
Early this year Z talked about the key focus is reaching mainstream audiences through experiences and products.
Recently, he also said experimenting for experimenting sake is not what Azuki is anymore, how getting excited by the new shiny thing is how all of this falls apart.
We just moved from gambling on NFTs reveals to gambling pack openings, because it's more acceptable, accessible, and involves a card game, and this will, hopefully, reach global audiences?
It feels more like moving from targeting a small audience to another small audience.
But what part of Azuki isn't an experiment? Full diving into TCG especially in an attempt to reach the mainstream audience is the probably the biggest gamble and experiment in itself.
How is TCG not the 'new shiny thing' Azuki decided to dive into when Pokemon TCG blew up?
I haven't exactly been following the updates closely, but as far as I'm concerned the team's entire focus has shifted into building the TCG and the Manga. I'm confused and lost. Nothing about this brand makes any more sense.

Humanity has been building for this moment.
@terencekwok sat down in the Hot Seat with @TheBlockco to explain why identity verification matters more in the age of AI, and where Humanity is headed.

Humanity's MCP server is live.
AI coding tools can now read our docs as they're written, so you're always getting the latest info.
Here's how it all works 👇

Every app you use asks you to prove who you are.
You hand over documents, selfies, passwords.
Humanity flips that. Here's how the tech actually works 👇

The EU built an age verification app.
Delete two entries from a file, restart the app, pick a new PIN and it hands over someone else's verified identity credentials without question.
This is what happens when verification is a feature, not a foundation 🤦♂️
‼️🇪🇺 The EU's new Age Verification app was hacked with little to no effort.
When you set it up, the app asks you to create a PIN. But that PIN isn't actually tied to the identity data it's supposed to protect. An attacker can delete a couple of entries from a file on the phone, restart the app, pick a new PIN, and the app happily hands over the original user's verified identity credentials as if nothing happened.
It gets worse. The app's "too many attempts" lockout is just a counter in a text file. Reset it to 0 and keep guessing. The biometric check (face/fingerprint) is a simple on/off switch in the same file. Flip it to off and the app skips it entirely.

Having trust doesn't mean giving up your privacy 🤫
@Terencekwok breaks down how Humanity verifies identity without ever seeing your data and why that's the only way it should work.

A fake Ledger app sat on the Apple App Store long enough to drain $424K from a real person.
Platform verification failed. The user paid for it.
Knowing something is real shouldn’t depend on a review process that can be fooled.

🚨 FAKE LEDGER APP ON APPLE STORE WIPES OUT ENTIRE BTC HOLDINGS
A fake Ledger Live app on Apple’s Mac App Store just wiped out a user’s life savings.
American musician Garrett Dutton lost 5.92 $BTC ($424K) after downloading what looked like the official app and entering his 24-word seed phrase.
On-chain investigator ZachXBT traced the stolen Bitcoin exchange deposit addresses and publicly questioned how the app made it through Apple’s gatekeeping.
No comment yet from Apple.

Big news. @Shubhamb is joining Humanity as Head of Ecosystem 🙌
From @0xPolygon , @Mantle_Official, @MantaNetwork, he's been in the trenches building ecosystems.
Now he's here to do the same for the trust layer.
Glad to have you, Shubham. Let's build 🫡
Excited to share that I’m joining @HumanityProt as Head of Ecosystem!!
My focus is to build the Human Layer for an internet that’s about to be crowded with AI agents.
My Thesis:
The last decade was about scaling digital connectivity.
We’re now at the cusp of the next major shift: Mass automation to Proof of Trust.
AI agents are quickly becoming ubiquitous. Everyone can automate presence, logic, and labor.
So where does the real advantage come from?
The Human Element.
Authenticity, Sybil-resistance, and uniqueness compound over time.
Bots are just the noise. Humans drive the value in a longer term,
I’m not against AI, but there should be a way to know who is human and who is AI
That’s why Humanity Protocol made sense to me. They built the hardest part first a privacy preserving, palm recognition on phone infrastructure that actually scales.
Our partnership with @Mastercard is the first step in bringing Proof of trust to scale web2 business as well
I’m particularly bullish on how we’ll redefine value distribution. Soon, we’ll be expanding the ecosystem with our SDK, allowing protocols to leverage and onboard unique humans.
This isn't just about identity, it’s about helping projects unlock unique use cases and optimally utilize their yields by ensuring they reach real hands, not script-run farms.
Time to be Unique Human
