Israeli Analog Astronaut @AstroAlon talking to #vnsc students abt #SimulatingMars on planet earth (in the Negev desert) 🏜️ 🌍🚀 Interesting fact - did you know that transmission of messages to earth takes 10 minutes? 📡🕞
#TBT [Blogged] In our final #AMADEE20 review, the analog astronauts👩🚀 Anika Mehlis and Dr. Robert Wild talk about their time in isolation during our 13th #simulateMars mission. Learn more about their work and daily routines.

#TBT [Blogged] Can you believe it❓#AMADEE20 started 1 year ago in October 2021. 🤩 Time to look back with Sophie Gruber at our 13th international Mars simulation in the Negev Desert in Israel 👉 ow.ly/OyNE50L2PAM
Thank you #MOM for 8 great years !
Great to see the @oewf #Mars analogue missions playing an important role in space research, in this case studying eye problems that 70% of astronauts experience in space, presented by @DLR_en at the #UNIAFworkshop #IAC2022

Proud of my modest part in Israel’s space story, as commander of the #DMARS03 analog Mars mission at Ramon Crater #SpaceExplorationDay
53 years ago today Neil Armstrong became the first Astronaut to walk on the moon.
Since then, humanity has come a long way in space exploration.
Here are some "out of this world" moments in Israel's space program:
