$ASTS: ICYMI this is the plan for Blocks 2 and 3. The next gen larger satellites likely come way later than this. There should be a minimum of ~96 of each of Block 2 and Block 3 for global low band + global mid band continuous coverage. Plus more for polar orbits and additional capacity. 6gutforum.org/en/events/even…

$ASTS $SPCX: 🚨@AST_SpaceMobile requests STA renewal with Grain Management's 800 MHz spectrum AST SpaceMobile requests renewal of its 30-day Special Temporary Authorization (“STA”)2 to continue operations at 817-824 MHz (uplink) and 862-869 MHz (downlink) for purposes of testing, evaluating, and demonstrating the AST SpaceMobile network’s broadband supplemental coverage from space (“SCS”) capabilities with its authorized in-orbit nongeostationary orbit satellite constellation. Kinda confusing and interesting that this renewal is occurring as @SpaceX and Grain already announced their definitive agreement. Although the transaction is subject to @FCC approval and other customary closing conditions, I don't think there is much question as to whether or not the transaction will be approved. Maybe a nothingburger, but I am sharing for discussion and visibility. fccprod.servicenowservices.c…

$QS: u/AnApebyanyotherName posted highlights from @QuantumScapeCo's Q3 earnings call that hint at a @panasonic reveal on November 11 👀 reddit.com/r/QUANTUMSCAPE_St… Below I also linked my thread on Panasonic from September 2025, ICYMI.
$QS: 🚨Panasonic aims to develop groundbreaking EV battery in about two years Unless @panasonic coincidentially developed an anode-less solid state battery with +25% battery capacity just like @QuantumScapeCo, this article screams partnership. 1/7 🧵 reuters.com/business/autos-t… Shout-out to the r/QUANTUMSCAPE_Stock subreddit for the find: reddit.com/r/QUANTUMSCAPE_St…

$ASTS $SPCX: Keith Dyer tests four phones at once on Starlink Mobile with @virginmedia @O2 The photo caption is: Four phones connect to overhead satellite services, loading maps services, connectnig to WhatsApp and sending SMS. All four phones have only 1 bar of signal and are low to mid battery, probably because of the constant need to switch satellites. The article notes that each connection would last around a minute and would reconnect every couple of minutes. The low signal aligns with findings by @Telstra that I posted about previously, linked below in the next post. 🧵 the-mobile-network.com/2026/…

$ASTS $SPCX: "We can see that Starlink [Mobile] could be used for text almost anywhere, but the signal was too weak for video." ST3's analysis showed that only 6% of the service area is suitable for video in the lower 48 states. lnkd.in/p/gcxXX2Qf

Yes the Roth note says "AST continues to broadly track to an early 2027 constellation commercialization" The "early 2027" guideline is the BB45 timeline that AST mentioned in the latest call. "continues to broadly track" means no change Note that "early 2027" doesn't mean March 2027. There is no definitive term for what "early 2027" means --- I am guessing it means a range of Q1 to end of Q2, i.e. "first half" of 2027.
