Cameras shouldn't be ignored during a pentest. There are dozens of known CVEs affecting them. They can be used as proxy to attack other hosts or maintain persistence. IoT devices can cause havoc if you don't update them.

A Highland Heights, Ohio police dispatcher has resigned after conducting over 20,000 times (that's not a typo) illegal searches of their AI software powered Flock cameras & database over a period of 2 years.

Lufkin, Texas officer Zachary Klein just got indicted for using Flock cameras to track 11 people’s vehicles for personal reasons - for over a year!
They still won’t say what he was actually doing.
That’s not a “misunderstanding.” That’s a cop with a nationwide surveillance network in his pocket.
Then they tell us “you just don’t understand Flock” and “courts say you have no privacy on public streets.”
The 4th Amendment didn’t vanish because they put cameras on every pole.
