In the offseason, the Vikings challenged J.J. McCarthy to improve his throwing versatility -- more clubs in the bag. Not just the fastball, but more layering of the ball. He lost the QB battle, but Minnesota noticed he improved in that area. Showed Sunday -- with a different team.

Jalen Hurts was in the hospital the night before the Eagles game in London and did not sleep, per doctors orders. He was in the hospital in the middle of the night and played through all of that. All they knew at that time was that he had a superficial small blood clot.
