At least 4 hours of Sky Sports News covering our football club yet we keep being told we're not relevant anymore 🤷♀️❤️🇾🇪

Congratulations Lula 🤝🇧🇷
A victory for socialists across the world & those opposed to brutal colonisation & US imperialism. A victory for those who support basic human rights & social justice. A victory for integrity & principles. A defeat for Terrorist Trump & Nazi Netanyahu.

United’s recent poor recent form highlights how absolutely huge the club is worldwide compared to others. United are dominating the media & all sports tv channels. They’re getting more coverage than a club who will be expelled from the league for industrial cheating.

Hope @andyburnham gets what Lula's victory means
You have to pick a side
Brazil just did, like Spain, Serbia & soon France & Italy
Neofascist Trumpian dominoes starting to fall
Green Party picked the people & planet's side not the side of the Epstein class
Vote Green 💚

Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox have reported to Carrington this morning for crisis talks over Michael Carrick’s future. The outcome feels inevitable #mufc
Every manager goes through a bad spell..Arteta, Klopp, Mourhino Ferguson, Emery etc. The only difference to them compared to Carrick is the amount of media scrutiny when United lose a few games.

Whether or not Michael Carrick’s position is now untenable, the Old Trafford crowd made one thing clear as they targeted the Glazers, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Jason Wilcox.
Sacking Carrick and replacing him will not fix the problems at Manchester United.
The issue is away from the pitch, writes @reallycerys ⬇️

United struggling at the moment BUT I have no interest in what Gary Neville (or Roy Keane) think about it. Why do Sky think we need to hear a 30 minute monologue from Gary Neville on the meaning of life…he’s nothing special.. just a gobby lad from Bury.

When Jose Mourinho’s career was analysed and celebrated in that Netflix three-parter it felt almost a farewell to elite football, the credits rolling on a spectacular touchline show. Mourinho was filmed looking at his trophy collection, taking a walk along the beach and down memory lane, lost in his reflections. But there’s always another episode in the Mourinho show. Writing him out of the great script of modern football drama is impossible. The box office remains open.
Last night’s 2-1 victory in El Clasico at Camp Nou was classic Mourinho. He ripped up the script and tore down those headlines questioning his qualities on his return to Real. He got his tactics spot on, keeping it compact, only 37% possession and hitting on the counter. Mourinho created the perfect platform for the clinical Kylian Mbappe, had Marc Cucurella control Lamine Yamal and saw a master-class from the world-class Jude Bellingham. Mourinho even put in a vintage knee-slide. He's not won a title for 11 years (back at Chelsea) but there's always another episode in the Mourinho show. #RMCF

A lot of parallels between Mo Salah last season and Bruno Fernandes this season, but at least United haven't given Fernandes a new contract, and surely won't.
An argument for ditching him in January to accelerate the process of building a new team. Carrick seems ready to make that call, would a new head coach? You can almost guarantee Fernandes will be at the heart of a short-term bounce. But then what do United do with him? #mufc

Kevin Maguire is spot on, all this talk about people stocking up is part of a wider lobbying campaign to increase defence spending. And as Kevin points out, the UK is already the 6th biggest defence spender in the world.

You can change your job.
You can change your house.
You can even change your partner.
But what you can’t change…
is your football club.
Because they are more than just businesses.
They are social and cultural institutions.
They represent communities, generations, history, identity, and belonging.
They’re not just about making money.
They’re about what they mean to the people. ❤️

Sky offering more coverage on a potential sacking of a manager than they did on the evening of the announcement that City were guilty of years of cheating.

🗣️ A Manchester United captain chose to throw the manager under the bus, when he’s been there long enough to know that the real culprits are the owners and directors and the players who once gain downed tools when things got tough. Bruno Fernandes might be the best player we’ve had post Sir Alex, but he’s a fucking coward.
Wilcox supported the appointment of Amorim when as the Technical Director at the time, he knew that the squad was nowhere near good enough for his system. He made him a bunch of promises, let him down, asked him to change halfway through a season then sacked him. Wilcox, is a bootlicking coward.
Berrada hires his old colleague Wilcox who might’ve done well as a youth team coach or academy director, but makes him the technical director and before he’s even proven himself in that role, promotes him to Sporting Director of the biggest club in the world! It’s a fucking joke.
SJR promised “best in class”. We’ve had anything but. How can he sit there and think “Yeah, it’s definitely Michael Carrick who needs to be sacked”?
The club is filled with cowards, blaggers and bootlickers from top to bottom.
He didn’t hesitate to sack Ashworth after a couple of months the second he felt he wasn’t good enough. So how can he have any confidence in Berrada and Wilcox who’ve been with us for far longer?
We’re about to lose another manager, and another club legend who happens to be the ONE person who gives a damn, all thanks to other people’s failings. Until that’s addressed and the parasites leave, this club wont be going forward an inch.
