This morning, UK forces boarded a Russian tanker in the English Channel that was secretly helping to bankroll Putin's war in Ukraine. The first operation of its kind led by British forces, and a clear message: there is nowhere to hide.

🔥🛢️ Ukrainian forces struck a Rosrezerv fuel storage facility in Kopayevo, near Rybinsk, in Russia's Yaroslavl Oblast. Located more than 700 km from the Ukrainian border, the site is part of Russia's state reserve system, which maintains strategic fuel stocks intended for use during wartime and national emergencies.
Our warriors have achieved good results in applying long-range sanctions against important facilities on the territory of Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. More than 700 kilometers from our state border, in Russia’s Yaroslavl region, SSU warriors struck an oil facility that was important for the reserves of the aggressor state. Warriors of our army reached their targets in Russia’s Tula region – specifically, the Azot plant, whose operations are critical to explosives production capabilities. Air traffic restrictions were imposed at six Russian airports, and overall, since yesterday evening, 28 regions of Russia have been under air raid alerts. There were also hits on the occupier’s military logistics in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Ukraine is carrying out its plan of long-range sanctions against Russia and the assigned tasks regarding mid-range strikes in response to Russia’s refusal to end this war. We have offered the Russian leadership every possible format for negotiations – and the only response was continued aggression and attempts to expand it. It stands to reason that the war is coming back to where it came from. Ukraine needs peace. Glory to Ukraine!

Great team work and coordination from Putin and Trump, as this attack comes just hours after Putin's phone call with Trump, in which Trump promised to apply pressure to Ukraine.
‼️ One of Ukraine’s most sacred Christian sites, the Orthodox Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, is on fire after a Russian attack on Kyiv. How many churches in Ukraine does Russia have to burn before anyone still repeating “Russia defends Christian values” finally stops promoting these lies?

And now we braise ourselves for another round of ballistic attacks. Buildings shaking from explosions outside and underground stations getting filled by people seeking shelter. #Ukraine burns and #russia revels in its inhumanity

Nineteen russian ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and Shahed drones are raining down on Kyiv right now. This is horrific. The UNESCO-listed Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra has been targeted. A thousand years of Ukrainian history, faith, and culture are once again under attempted destruction. Why would people who claim to be Christians ever align with russia? Should we expect any posts from you, @RealCandaceO , condemning the Kremlin’s attack on Christianity — or do you only talk about God when you’re paid to? The Lavra has been attacked twice — and both times by Russians. The previous time it was damaged was during World War II, on November 3, 1941. The cathedral was mined and blown up by retreating Soviet NKVD saboteurs after German forces occupied the city. And today — on Sunday (the Lord’s Day), June 14, 2026 — it was struck again by direct Russian missile attacks. The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of the Caves) is 975 years old. It is one of the oldest and most sacred monastic complexes in Eastern Europe, with its history officially dating back to 1051 AD during the era of Kyivan Rus’.

Despite all the Kremlin's efforts, Russia's manpower advantage over Ukraine is starting to wane - CNN ▪️ Fewer and fewer Russians are willing to go to war. According to Russian economy expert Janis Kluge, recruitment into the Russian army fell by 20% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to 2025. And the trend is expected to continue. ▪️ Russia has already sent tens of thousands of convicts to the front, received reinforcements from North Korea, and recruited immigrants. ▪️ To attract new contract soldiers, Russia is offering sign-up bonuses of up to $80,000, debt relief of up to $140,000, "hero" status, citizenship, and other perks. "After all, if a potential military recruit was unwilling to take a hefty signing bonus last year, it is unclear what would make them change their mind now, especially given reports of poor treatment on the front lines," CNN notes. At the same time, Russia is suffering catastrophic losses on the battlefield. ▪️ The strategy of "paying rather than forcing" is beginning to falter, especially as Russia's economic problems continue to mount. Putin will likely have to make even more unpopular decisions this year if he wants to continue the invasion of Ukraine. One option would be to declare mobilization. ▪️ Nigel Gould-Davies, a senior fellow for Russia and Eurasia at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), shares this view. "The Kremlin will soon face a fundamental choice over whether to radically escalate its demands on Russia’s economy and society or to scale back its war aims," he predicts.
