Most marketers know when something’s not working.
But they’re not always sure what it is (or how to fix it) so what’s actually holding teams back?
We’ve crunched the data for you and discovered it’s usually one of these 7 problems:
No clear strategy
Sales misalignment
Attribution chaos
Leads that don’t convert
Budget cuts
Rising ad costs
No stakeholder buy-in
If that sounds familiar here’s the good news: every one of them is fixable - with the right structure!

Doing something because everyone else does it is a terrible reason… at least in marketing.
Most companies, based on the survey we ran, post on social media for the sake of it.
For the record, it is worth posting on social media, but it's also essential to have goals and KPIs associated with your social profiles.

Remembering the great Eric Dolphy who was born on this day in 1928. Dolphy was one of several multi-instrumentalists to gain prominence in the same era. His use of the bass clarinet helped to establish the instrument within jazz and extended the vocabulary and boundaries of the alto saxophone. He was also among the earliest significant jazz flute soloists.
Besides his thorough mastery of these woodwinds, he introduced an unprecedented range of unique expressive techniques on them. Dolphy discovered unique ways of organizing his improvising, using original themes and radical harmonic means, as in his major album Out to Lunch.
Here, he is performing “Peggy’s Blue Skylight” with Charles Mingus on bass, Clifford Jordan on tenor saxophone, Jaki Byard on piano and Dannie Richmond on drums live in Belgium, 1964.

🌧️ All this rain has us thinking about #GerhardRichter's paintings.
Their shimmering streaks of white, red and rusty orange start to resemble blurred forms in a puddle or reflections of figures, buildings or buses through a rain-soaked window.
