My personal feelings on BlueCo and management of the club are these: 1) Winstanley and Eghbali CANNOT continue interfering in team selections. This is part of a culture of protecting player values over results and its acutely damaging to the club's status and success.

Imagine if you stood up at work and said “You know who has one hell of a beautiful ass? It’s Carol from accounting. Stand up Carol! Show them your ass!” You’d be fired within the hour but the president gets a pass because everyone has accepted the fact that he’s a scumbag.
Trump: I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before, Nicki Minaj. That's hard to miss.

We are genuinely at a point where wages and growth cannot possibly keep pace with rising costs in a neverending drive for increased profits and dividend payouts. At some point a government must introduce price controls. Its the only solution
People are cancelling subscriptions, buying cheaper food, avoiding nights out and putting off holidays because everything costs too much. They're switching supermarkets, comparing energy tariffs and cutting back on little things that used to make life enjoyable. And yet, millions of people are still struggling to make their wages last until payday. You can only cut back so much when rent, bills, transport and food take up most of your income. At some point, the problem isn't how people spend their money. It's how much of their money it costs just to live.

When a new coach comes in, you are always going to have highs and lows for a period. I want Chelsea to build with Alonso. But sometimes, managers just HAVE to do the simple, obvious things to keep fans onside in the meantime - and not take stupid risks with arthouse decisions.

Lo de jugar con Rogers de falso nueve no funcionó en ningún momento y aún así Alonso optó por mantenerlo hasta el minuto 85 en ese rol. Lo del español hoy con sus decisiones es muy reprochable. No atinó una.

Sat thinking on this for a couple of hours and just cannot get my head around Alonsos decisions tonight. Were they even his decisions or Blueco's? Quenda, why? No Welbs, why? Long balls to no forward, why? No HT change, why? Palestra on, why? He needs to be pressed to explain.
Alonsos management here. Appalling

How is it possible for Utd not to have learned a single thing from all the mistakes Clearlake made at Chelsea? Worse still, they're actively copying them.
🚨🚨🌕| NEW: Christopher Vivell is pushing to appoint Julian Nagelsmann. Jason Wilcox would prefer a coach who has proven himself in the Premier League. [@NathSalt1, @ChrisWheelerDM]

Alonso wants overlapping options at LB and RB. The forwards are more suited to playing narrow. TAA makes sense.
🚨 Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso is keen to reunite with Trent Alexander-Arnold and is interested in bringing the Real Madrid right-back to Stamford Bridge. However, Chelsea could face competition from Liverpool, who are also interested in re-signing their former defender. The 28-year-old was once again an unused sub for José Mourinho's side last night. Simple. He embodies a wave of coaches who think philoshophy > results. Fans are tired of coaches who'd rather prove a point than do the best by their club - esp when his particular brand of football is one many of us feel is boring as f*ck.
Plenty of managers are known for a possession-based style of football and take pride in their appearance. A plethora of them have a ginormous ego. Well, pretty much all of them. But none of the above seem to be castigated as much as the head coach of Leicester City, Russell Martin. So why is he the subject of a walking culture war? 📝 @TimSpiers 🔗 nyti.ms/4BjVmms

Arsenal wrapping their arms around opponents' entire bodies again @prorefofficial. Still ok for them i presume?

Do we think theyre a little rattled? They got away with two penalties, two potential reds and were given 80% of the 50/50s. And theyre still fucking moaning about Rogers winning the ball with the side of his foot. Fuck off and get relegated.
“Barry should’ve done better, Caicedo had a chance but other than that there’s nothing to talk about from the first half” Fuck off Cundy, how about the studs from Rogers to Garner’s knee, could have changed the game if the officials done their jobs - @Mrjamieohara1 have him on that. Everton bad overall against an average team I’ll give you that.

Really happy Alonso mentioned the front 3 work rate today. Didnt think they were their usual brilliant selves on the ball but they worked like forward players in a top team have to

Love Reece James and always thought he was world class when fit. But I think this is the end of his time as a starter at Chelsea or any other major club. His body is broken.
